Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. Coff (which isn't her real name, obviously. Her real name is actually quite pretty, if she does say so herself) lives on the south coast of NSW, Australia, where the beaches are lovely, the days are generally warm, and the bush is always a place in which to have an adventure. She studies sound producing at TAFE, because her parents didn't seem to think 'rock star' was a good enough answer when they asked her what she wanted to do. She's still holding onto the rock star idea, but being an author also seems like a wonderful career path. She absolutely loves reading, mostly books in the Fantasy genre and not the science fiction genre because books from the science fiction genre are usually too complex and difficult for her tiny brain to comprehend. The names, in particular, are what gets her, because she has trouble distinguishing from 'asdlkdlskdf' and 'asblkdlskdf'. She loves music of any (well, almost, but more on that later..) genre, most of all rock and punk, and I suppose she flucuates her style between 'rock star' clothes, 'tomboy' clothes and 'punk!' clothes. The music she doesn't like is emo, because she's not a fan of the whingers nor the screamers, and she also doesn't like the weird stuff her TAFE teachers are trying to shove down her throat, which she likes to refer to as 'feedback and beeps.' She likes anyone who doesn't take themselves seriously, and who can have a bit of a laugh at themselves, and she also loves anyone with a slightly sarcastic cynical sense of humour. Her sense of humour is generally lost on anyone who takes themselves awfully seriously, and who doesn't like sarcasm, irony or being cynical. Very sorry in advance! She also loves sport, though not rugby union, for two reasons: 1. She hates the scrum and things it's useless; 2. Australia lost to England last year. She also doesn't like netball, because you cant tackle anyone, and whats the fun in a game where you cant shove other people around? She does like rugbe league, however, and she absolutely loves soccer and cricket, and loves swimming most of all. She doesn't really get the obsession with baseball, because she's Australian and therefore feels compelled to believe in the importance of cricket above almost all other sports. She's also Samoan, however, and as such should really be a fan of union. Her favourite authors are Jennifer Fallon, Melina Marchetta, JK Rowling, Jaclyn Moriarty, John Marsden and Tamora Peirce. Under threat of death she also has to write JRR Tolkin here, and she really does love Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. She adores The Famous Five, as well as The Faraway Tree and The Naughtiest Girl, and really any book by Enid Blyton, too. She also likes CS Lewis. Her favourite books ever are called Saving Francesca, Feeling Sorry for Celia, the whole Tide Lords Series, especially Gods of Amyrantha, and Treason Keep, because she has quite the crush on Damin Wolfblade. Her favourite movies are ones that you wouldn't suspect someone like her, who is quite unlike a girly-girl, to like. Love Actually, Looking For Alibrandi and Peter Pan in all forms, including Finding Neverland take the top of the list, followed shortly by Shrek, The Chronicals of Narnia and Mulan. She also loves Fight Club and the Harry Potter flims, but she just loves reading the books so much more, because to her, the books allow her to be transported into another world. Her pet peeve is anyone who writes 'a lot' as one word. She finds it even worse when they write 'allot' when they're meaning to write 'a lot.' She'll also be rather amazed if anyone actually reads through all of this! Oh, and if you leave reviews, she'll love you forever and ever and ever. | |||||||
