I live in Lincolnshire in the UK and am female aged 49, married with two sons aged 16 and 13. The whole family are Potter Fans, my two boys having grown up with him. I work part-time. I am in a Snape obsessive phase at the moment. I was very hurt by the treatment he got at the end of DH. Left in the Shack, no funeral, JKR says he's not really a hero, shall I go on? Poor man. So I tried newsgroups , then reading fanfic and then writing it, to bring me some rest. Is it possible to be haunted by a dead fictional character? On the plus side though the search for 'medication' has proved very fruitful as I have read some wonderful stories and poetry here. This has then led me to discover and in some cases re-discover books and poems that I either did not know or had forgotten that I knew. I feel in some ways 'newly awakened' from a sleep, the sleep of routine, day to day life. It is still there but at least I have remembered that there is more to life than just the routine. |
