The Secret of the Forest: Stay tuned for an exciting adventure with the gorgeous Elvenking, the sassiest elf who ever walked Middle-earth. This story, featuring Thranduil/OC, has been first published on AO3 and other platforms (beginning in 2016) and has now been completely rewritten and edited and I'm thrilled to be able to bring this now also to FanFiction.Net! A little bit of info in case you want to know more:

A shadow lies on Thranduil and his forest and only a power stronger than the darkness of old can save them. Grief and loss have turned him into a king with a heart of ice and if he is ever to find redemption, the chains of guilt and remorse holding him captive must be broken. But he is running out of time and if he fails, the Woodland Realm with fall with him.

When Anna, a mere human, finds herself at his mercy and he mysteriously chooses to keep her alive, she is faced with a choice: heal his broken heart or find her way home; a decision that might tear her apart or make her whole again.

A tale of bittersweet love, sacrifice and the search for absolution.

I love Tolkien, I love Thranduil and I love writing, so it was only logical to put those three together and create a romance involving the Elvenking. But this story is more than a simple love story. It is a tale of loyalty and sacrifice, the search for redemption and the vital connection in between the King and his forest. The strained relationship in between Thranduil and Legolas comes into play as well as fateful events from his past.

The story is of course based on Tolkien's works, mainly The Hobbit (book and movies), with some events from The Silmarillion and The Unfinished Tales. Although my aim is to stay as true to Tolkien as possible, not everything will be according to canon, and I am taking some liberties as I see fit. You will also find elements of folklore, fairy-tale, Norse mythology (Tolkien's own source for many of his own ideas and concepts) as well as some motives from The Beauty and the Beast. All these are mixed with ideas of my own.

The story begins on August 25th 2941 TA and follows closely the timeline of the Hobbit.

3 songs have been composed for this story: Nameless Lady (Chapter 11 - Poetry and Promises) and Thranduil's Lament (Chapter 22 - A Fond Farewell) and the newest Thranduil's Lullaby (Chapter 30 - Lost and Found). You can listen to them on youtube!

Valinor Beach: Thranduil needs a vacation and Legolas knows just what to do. He persuades his reluctant father to accompany him to a secluded beach. But alas, an Elvenking is not a surfer boy and flip-flops are definitely not what Thranduil considers suitable footwear. And these are only minor obstacles on the way to relaxation in Valinor Beach. Modern-ish AU setting.

Springtime in the Woodland Realm: The forest of Eryn Galen isn't the only thing enjoying a new spring. The Elvenking is madly in love with his Queen and when he finds her out alone in the woods, there's only one thought on his mind. A short, sweet and only a little bit naughty one-shot (Thranduil/OC).
