I love the Winx Club and my favourite character is, surprise surprise, Princess Bloom of Domino. I like the way she maintain an optimistic demeanour yet she has a temper when her buttons are pushed. However, I only consider the first three seasons and the secret of the lost kingdom to be canon. The Winx have lost their original charm and the shows focuses on Bloom more than necessary. She's a complete Mary-Sue and just so ick. The villains are lame [nobody can match up to Valtor] and the writing of the newer seasons suck [ahem, nickelodeon, I'm looking at you].

On the brighter side of things, World of Winx shows potential. I mean, holy guacamole, it's amazing. Plot and character development, 9.5/10.

I ship all the canon couples in winx club [pre-secret of the lost kingdom, that it]. However, I do have my favourite unusual pairings.

Sky/Brandon- the prince and the squire. it's forbidden love, as I assume eraklyon is a kingdom that shows a high intolerance for any lgbt people. these two have an entire story to be told e.g. how they met, what did they do together before red fountain. they're a treasure trove of ideas. a lot of potential for many steamy scenes ;)

Stella/Timmy- a high maintenance fashionista and a shy nerdy boy. polar opposites, yet I think both of them can highlight a lot of good qualities in the other, as well as helping each other in different ways. plus, they both have their insecurities which may actually mirror the others.

Current Work In Progress: Ashes. Bloom is kidnapped by Valtor during the final battle and the Winx and the Specialists must find her before Valtor makes his next move. A Sky centric story that focuses on his emotions and how he copes with his other responsibilities. Rated T for some swearing and drug abuse. Approximately twenty chapters planned ahead.
