Poll: Are you actually going to read the Mara Dyer trilogy? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 3 stories for Cat Royal Adventure, and Companions Quartet. Before you ask, don't. I'm me. Most people will fill their pages with quotes or 'copy-and-paste's. I won't. That's not me. Feel free to stumble around here - try not to get lost. If you do, it's easy to get out. Just follow your gut. If you want to get to know me, then PM me. Review me. Grab your chance to make a friend of me and never let it go, because when I'm gone, I'm gone. There is one thing I will share with you, however, and that's the greatest of all my personal philosophies: 'Live hard or die trying, because a life lived easy is a life wasted.' LOL! You didn't actually think I was THAT stuck up, did you? Nah, that isn't me. Observe: NEWS! Yes, I've decided to continue writing. My love life is a mess. I seriously need to sort that out. Got my exam results. 2 B's, 4 A's and 9 A*'s. Not my best, but still pretty good. Ashura Satoshi. Epic writer. Check him out. And Maudie Stirling too. Please nominate on the CR Awards 2014! Got ideas for any of my fics? Good. Gimme them. Pwease? *puppy dog eyes* About to do my D of E. Freaking out. Don't want to fail. FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN THE TRILOGY MENTIONED IN CHPATER 9 OF KD I'm really bad at these summary things, BTW. So, basically, there's a sixteen year old girl called Mara (that's not her real name, but this trilogy (or at least the first bit) is apparently based on real events, so the original names have been changed). One night, she goes into an old insane asylum with her best friend, Rachel, boyfriend Jude and boyfriend's sister Claire. Long story short, the asylum collapses and only Mara survives (or does someone else, too?) (Yeah, I'm not giving out too many spoilers here). She moves with her family, and falls in love with the insanely charming Noah (who has been out with pretty much every single girl in his school) and then she realises she can do something really freaky with her mind, and can't control it. Okay, that's as much as I'm telling you. But seriously, I'd say defo at least 13 before you read it. There's some really... teenage... stuff in there. And freaking creepy stuff, too, thought that's more the second book. MOI! The name's Megan. 13. Living in Northern Ireland. I'm learning Korean, Bokmal and French. My hobbies include messing with guys' hearts and minds, being generally evil, trying to sort out my incredibly complicated love life, daydreaming, procrastinating, doing things with my friends, who are the most unreliable people I've ever met, but I still love them all to pieces, scaring puppies (not my fault), sleeping, watching TV, mucking around on the computer, and spending insane amounts of time listening to music. Oh, and fangirling. And reading, of course. I'm insane. My mates are insane. Any mates I have that aren't insane are on the path to becoming insane. My life's insane. That's exactly how I like it. I train dogs (: I'm flat footed, so spend a lot of time walking on my tiptoes, which is supposed to help it. I hate wearing shoes when I'm at home. SHINee is a South Korean band. They are amazing. Simple. I'm incredibly lazy. If I were any animal, I'd be a puppy, because they can fall asleep anywhere and NO ONE cares. I can tell my friends about an epic book series, and tell them to read it. Only one of them will listen to me. That friend also happens to have the same birthday, and was born approximately 12 hours before me XD. She's kaytee.km1904 (I think...). I have a LOT of OC's. In fact, I think I have 12 major ones and hundreds of minor ones. When in the vicinity of rain, straightened hair, and a friend (KAYTEE!!!!!!!) holding a tennis racket over her head, bad things happen. I nearly always call people I know by pet names, so if 'dollface', 'chinchilla', 'sweetheart', 'love', 'darling' or 'babyface', or anything else slips out during a conversation, don't think I'm patronizing you - I'm seriously just doing my thing. Seriously, ask kaytee.km1904 - I call her dollface all the time. BIG BANG THEORY! (BEST. SHOW. EVER.) Raj: If you wear something brown and sit on the couch, they won't even know you're there. Mrs. Wolowitz: Howard, get the door! Sheldon: It's very simple. Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and—as it always has—rock crushes scissors. Penny: Oh gosh, Sheldon, the genius, is jealous of Leonard. Raj: Okay, I have a request to make. Penny: Oh, I don't know. Remember what happened when I took care of your goldfish? Leonard: I know what you are doing. You don't want me going on this research trip because you're afraid to be alone. I have this notebook I carry around. The notebook is of no value: my mother got me it because she thought I would like it. A sweet gesture, nothing more. It's what is inside the notebook that matters. At the front, there's a list of quotes. There's no order to them. Some of them start on one page, and end on another. Whenever I hear a quote I like, I have to write it there as quickly as possible. I don't care if I look crazy. The notebook stays with me: in my room, my bag, where I go, it goes, just in case. In the back is a different set of lists. These appear to be random, but there is a careful, subtle order to them. These are the lists of things to read, places to go, my ideas and thoughts and plans, so that I will always know what to do. That notebook, which I got a week ago and only started to care about today, now means a lot to me. And now I sound crazy. Well done, Megan *pats self on back*. MAH CHILDER! A brief history of my dogs: All German Shepherds, by the way. R and B were short hairs, I and M were/are long hairs. Rommell: Bought as pup, died aged 8 on the 20th January 2012. Had to be put down due to cancer and internal bleeding. Gentle giant. Let me use him as a horse when I was 3, and never hurt me. My first memories. Came into my room and watched me sleep. RIP. Not a day goes by where the thought of you doesn't hurt, but I know you're waiting for me, wherever you are. Indie: Bought at 8 months. Had to give him back to his previous owner due to insanity and his brute strength. Crazy, but loving. Jumped on my shoulders the second he saw me. Looked like a bear cub. Though I knew you for 3 days, I sobbed quietly to myself for hours after you left. Bailie: Bought as a pup, died aged 8 months on the 20th March 2013. Heart just stopped. Hyper and loving. Curled up with me when she was tired. Went crazy when I got home, even though I'd only been away a few hours, because she missed me so. RIP. I still miss you so badly, but I know that wherever you are, you're with Rommell, probably comparing how stupid I am for missing you when I know I'll see you in a while. Molly: Bought as a pup. Still alive. Her birthday is the 20th of July. Looks like a wolf. Long-haired, and incredibly cute. Fascinated by my feet, my slippers and my socks. Can roll a tennis ball the whole way down the back of a sofa with just one push. Takes my seat on the sofa. Creeps me out by sniffing the bottom of my door really loudly, like a psychotic killer. Bailie's best friend, so depressed when she died. She's only a fortnight younger. The new one: No name. Haven't met her yet. But when I see her, I know I'll love her. .••) .•).•.•) .•) Well, whoever you are, well done for making it this far. Thank you to everyone who's made a difference in my life, no matter how small - reviewers, I love you all, even if you flamed me. And you're the best, Katie. Thank you for taking the time to read this rubbish. Thank you. P.S. I do betaing and I love reviews! | |||||||
