Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. I am Evan, and I am twenty. In my spare time I am a student at the University of Oxford. My beta, Alicia AKA Incarnadine is a student at Cambridge, which makes her a "tab" and us apparently deadly academic rivals. Or something. Anyway, when I'm not antagonising my friends, I play Ultimate Frisbee and polo, and occasionally even study for my philosophy degree. I write Harry Potter fanfiction to give me something to do when I don't want to write essays but all my friends are writing theirs. I think it's called 'procrastination', but I think I can make a case for calling it 'stress relief'. I like: Angst, Slash (H/D in particular), Mystery Stories, Parodies, Slytherin!Harry, Dark!Harry, AU, some 'abuse' stories, Azkaban! stories. I dislike: Incest (it's unsavoury), MPREG (it's impossible), Veela! stories (find a new reason to get them together. Please), Voldemort/anyone (remember, he can't feel love?), Lily/James (okay, we all know they hated each other then they got together. Please get over it.) I removed Hate Me For A Reason because I lost the story in a freak accident involving my computer keyboard and a glass of red wine. This is not at all funny, nor was it my fault. Much. I have left the two one-shots up because I like them, even if no one else does. My major WIP has now changed thanks to the input of my dearest Alicia. She challenged me to take one of the greatest cliches of our fandom and make an original story out of it. To be fair to her, she's doing the same thing to another cliche. My chosen poison is the "Harry's brother is the Boy-Who-Lived" storyline, only a few things are different. The thing is, his brother really is the one who stopped Voldemort, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say was. The prologue of Cover Story, the first of my anticipated 'False Colours' quadrilogy, will make its appearance on this site as soon as I'm satisfied with it.
