We pick up after the events of Project Lightning Bug, where Ral Zarek has decided that he and Jace should band together to improve their planeswalking ability and acumen, much to Jace's reluctance. What begins as an experiment gone wrong blossoms into an adventure that neither expected to take, unexpectedly providing them both with moments of healing and discovery.
