Gustave Daae's new job as District Attorney has painted a target on Christine's back for anyone wishing to keep her father from prosecuting them. Erik gets hired to guard her, never expecting he'd have to guard her from stealing his heart, Leroux/Modern/EC.

What happens when Christine is stuck at Erik's house for a few days because of an extremely terrible blizzard? I know the summary doesn't sound too good, but believe in me and read the story please.

Erik is the master assassin and genius architect for the Shah of Persia. He has everything he could want, money, fame, power…everything but the one thing he knows he can never have. Love. Unable to turn his back from her he makes the choice to take her with him, but as the child begins to charm Erik, he must question whether he can keep her, and if he does, how does he survive living with her - without taking her away from the world she knows.

What if Erik had been more honest with Christine? What if he had acted quicker? What if Christines father didnt simply die of illness but was murdered?
