In your story "The Butterfly Effect," where did you take Sherlock's fathers' name from?

Okay I know only about zero out of a hundred people are going to care about this, but the hundredth one just might be a little interested. Sherrinford is a name Arthur Conan Doyle settled with before settling with Sherlock Holmes. It was later elaborated on by Sherlock Holmes scholars that Sherrinford could perhaps be Sherlock and Mycroft's brother. Since there was no space for another brother in this fanfic--plus the fact I would be stretching my readership quite thin if I went too far with the references--I decided to simply name Sherlock's deceased father Sherrinford.

Wow. That was an absolutely useless piece of information and I'll do my best to forget about it as soon as possible.
