![]() Author has written 20 stories for Doctor Who, Pushing Daisies, Sherlock, Psych, Supernatural, Gravity Falls, and Avengers. Hello, welcome to my profile. Goodness knows what drove you to click on my pen name but well, since you're here I guess I'll tell you things. General relevant stuff: I speak English. Other things also, but English natively. Shocking, I know. I don't curse in real life, but the characters I write sure do. Generally the language in my fics is no worse in the shows for which I'm writing, with the exception of my Gravity Falls fics, in which things get a little saltier than you would expect to see on Disney. Emphasis on "a little." I have vowed to myself to never start publishing a story on here unless I know for sure I will finish it. It might be very slow going, but don't worry about me abandoning anything. I probably won't ever write any romance. Any relationships I do feature will be canon ones. I'm not really a big shipper. You absolutely will never see any slash, incest, or anything sexual in any of my stories. You don't have to ask my permission to make any secondary fanwork (fanart, etc.) of my stories; just please credit me and definitely send a link my way so that I may behold it. And also know that if you do make such fanwork I will love you forever and ever. :) I crave quality fanart and fanart inspired by my own work, I just—there aren't words. The quizzes consistently tell me that if I were born in Middle-earth I would have at least some Elf blood in me (it's always either "Elf" or "Númenórean"—okay it's not strictly Elf blood in the latter case, but you get the picture). That is important to note. Fandom-specific stuff: Doctor Who: My favorite Doctor is Ten but honestly I think I love Eleven just as much. Favorite companion is Donna. Don't know how relevant that is though, because I haven't had any ideas or inspiration for Who fanfics in quite a while. Pushing Daisies: My love for this show is enduring but often I forget about it. Haven't written for it in several years and I'd love to change that but it may be a while. Sherlock: I find it weird that I've published only one Sherlock fic on here (looks like two, you say? think again, it's only one), but so it goes. At some point in the future I'll probably get back to it; I find Sherlock's character absolutely fascinating but I don't have much confidence in my ability to write him well. One day, perhaps. Psych: If anything I've published on here could be considered a magnum opus, it would be Ronaldo. I still can't believe how long it became, my goodness. Anyway, Psych. Love the show, love Shawn's character. Shules is probably my preferred ship out of all my fandoms, so my Psych oneshots dip probably as close to romance as I'll ever actually write. Supernatural: Yep. Verging on season 14 and I'm still watching it. It has fallen so far but I'm seeing it through to the end. It's pretty likely that I'll write more for this fandom in the future. Probably Dean-centric stuff. A Candle Burns is pretty slow going right now for a variety of reasons, but don't worry, it'll get finished one day. Gravity Falls: There is no describing the love I have for this show, and in particular Stanley Pines. He's truly an incredibly-written character. I go waaay overboard with exploring that in Everything I Care About but I am so happy with the end result. Stanley Pines is a treasure. Don't you forget it. Avengers: I've seen only the movies and have never touched a comic book, just as a disclaimer. Writing for this fandom was probably a one-time deal. Tony is the only character I genuinely find fascinating but I don't even have a lot of fic ideas for him. Maybe in the future when new info on him comes out I will be inspired again, but for now, assume that I'm done. Conclusion I like writing and I like reading and I like receiving and providing feedback, and... yeah. Those are the most important things. Go ahead and contact me with any suggestions or questions as long as they're relevant to fanfiction. Or if you want me to pray for you. I totally will. Also, remember that you are valuable beyond measure and that everything is going to be okay in the end. Ad maiorem Dei gloriam, Darkest |
