![]() Author has written 7 stories for Ouran High School Host Club, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Inheritance Cycle, and Doctor Who. I'm aware of the stories I've written, posted, and never continued. I often wish to continue them, but realize that I lack all the ideas for writing and the general push I had in me. I suppose that they're all on standby/hiatus for the moment. I'll return someday when I have my life together. UPDATE: I haven't uploaded shit and I know it. I'm going to be honest. The past year and before have given me new stresses and experiences, and I have had barely a lick of inspiration or urge to write fanfiction. I can't believe that the prime time of my fanfiction writing was in 7th and 8th grade. However, the past few weeks, and by some extension, months, I've been reading a ton more fanfiction. I still don't have much push to write, but I've been doing more thinking and reflecting over stories. ALL stories on indefinite standby, but I hope to rewrite and continue the The Help someday. I'll have to reread the Inheritance Cycle and Heroes of Olympus first, but for now I'm busy applying to college and taking a ton of advanced level courses. Fanfiction is in the back of my mind. I'm thinking about reposting my stories to Ao3? Maybe that'll be my first toe-dip back into the world of fanfiction. Thanks everyone. Hiya! Call me Cory. My favorite band is MCR. My Tumblr is breadisnotboring, feel free to check it out. My Ao3 is also breadisnotboring, although I haven't posted any works there as of 1/17/17. My favorite fandoms are Doctor Who, Ouran High School Host Club, Fruits Basket, Kuroshitsugi, Avengers, Thor, Death Note, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Inheritance Cycle, Harry Potter, and Artemis Fowl. Fanfiction is what literature might look like if it were reinvented from scratch after a nuclear apocalypse by a band of brilliant pop-culture junkies trapped in a sealed bunker. They don't do it for money. That's not what it's about. The writers write it and put it up online just for the satisfaction. They're fans, but they're not silent, couchbound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language. - Lev Grossman | |||||||
