Set after Trenzalore. Clara was permanently damaged after jumping into the Doctor's timestream, but the Doctor chooses to ignore it. He can only run from the truth for so long before he has to face consequences. He's losing Clara, slowly. She was the only mystery worth solving - now she's the only person worth saving. Clara stood frozen, reeling from too many emotions to even name. All she could do was stare. "Doctor?" She approached him slowly, carefully. "What's happened to you?" She swallowed against the grief that threatened to cloud her voice. "Why are you acting like this?"
