Brian Neil Potter is Harry Potter only cousin on his father’s side and was born one year ahead of Harry, his parents were also killed by Voldemort on the night Harry lost his, Brian was killed via killing curse but survived, his first death and revival, when found by Dumbledore just before finding Harry, he becomes scared by the child's power level due to the fact Tom Riddle (A.K.A Voldemort) was that powerful when he met him in the orphanage at eleven years old, while Brian is just a year old, he sends Brian out of country to Japan to train with powerful Wizards and Witches who try to harness the power of dragons, in a bid to have him just disappear.

During the summer before Harry’s Fifth yeah he learns of what happened from his adopted Father after Brian massacres a bandit village that killed two of his best friends and a woman he began to love...Master Rai sends him away to find Harry to attempt to help him find inner peace with himself.

Brian hunts Harry down so he can find his only other surviving blood family and to question Dumbledore on why he sent him away and why he cannot die.

He is a sarcastic person who holds loyalty, friendship and family to a high regard, his uses his ability not die even from the most gruesome of deaths to his advantage both in battle and day to day life.

He wants to find love too but the fact he will most likely outlive his grand children's children makes it hard for him to settle down.

Update - This Story Is Not Abandoned!

Hello...long time no see

Yes i'm still alive, alot has happened to me since I last updated, so a bit of context for you all.

When I started this story I was in the Army and had been for almost four years, this has however has cease to be after I was involved in a very big "Accident” (If you count having an APC hit your stationary APC at 25MPH on a civilian road an accident and this fan fiction was put on the back burners, I have recovered, and now have a new job, no longer in the forces and re-stumbled apon this.

You will he glad to know that past me wrote out almost all of the next chapter bar a couple of items plus a few bit I want to add...the next chapter should hopefully be out in the next few days as I now work a four day on, four day off rota.

thank you all for your patience and I will have the next chapter out soon.

I know it's taking me a long time to get chapter Seven out but it's been a very hard chapter to write, plus I've also been writing up parts for chapter Eight so that one will come out the week after chapter Seven goes online.

Please everyone review, I've only had one and I really want to know what you all think, it makes it hard to keep writing when I think people don't enjoy it...just a line or two would be fine...please.

Last night while I slept, Harry Potter And The Lost Blood Lines broke 1000 views...holy shit.

Thank you all, you are all the reason I keep writing this story and to see so many people add it to their favourites is the best compliment you could give me...other then a review as well.

Chapter 7 and 8 are in the works but will take time, I'm also thinking about writing a One shot short story of some of the Adventures Brian went on Before He found out about Harry and after he did when he spent a month in the UK.

If you like the sound of it let me know, I'll be honest, it wouldn't come out until at least after everyone gets to Hogwarts.

I have now finished writing chapter six and am now reading it over to make sure it's ok...this is the longest chapter I have ever wrote so I hope to have it out by today but worst case scenario it will be out by tomorrow.

I know I'm not good with keeping dates!

Chapter Six is still in the works but is nearing completion, just having a bit of a block with how I want Harry and Brian to react to some of Dumbledore's admissions.

I want to make the story that Dumbledore isn't a bad person, he is just so blinded by his motion of "The greater good" he has made desisions that have changed many people's lives and now they want answers...how would Harry react to seeing his greatest mentor in this comprising position...so I've been reading alot of other FanFictions to get some inspiration but I'm still sort of stuck so if any of you have ideas or another fanfic that could help it would be a massive help...I'll even give you credit if you give me something good.

Other then that everything else is going pretty smoothly and I'm already writing up drafts for the massive fight with Brian and Harry Vs a Battalion of Death Eaters, with the introduction to the girl that will cause a love triangle between Brian and Tonks so I'm really excited to share it with you all but that will mean chapter seven will be the longest chapter so therefore take longer to write.

Thank you all so much for reading this, I honestly thought I'd put it up and no one would read it...you all make me want to write more and I will for as long as I can!!

Chapter Five is online now and a bit of trivia, I uploaded this chapter in London in Waterloo tube station...yeah I know nothing too special but hey, had to tell you all something!!

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Secondly I know it is late but the new chapter should be out sometime on the 4th, after helping out with all the sick people in my house I finally have had some time to write up some more and it should be done soon.
