After Loki falls from the Bifrost, he lands on Earth instead of with the Chitauri. Rather than attacking New York, he decides to try and keep his head down so as not to draw attention from Asgard, and he starts a quiet new life. While Thor continues to mourn his brother, Loki tries to establish something for himself. Will eventually be Loki/Jane.

Loki is banished from Asgard almost immediately upon his return. Abandoned and alone, he sinks from anger to depression and self-harm as he loses all hope of love or redemption. When all hope seems lost, however, and Loki is nothing but a broken, defeated shell of his former self, help comes from the most unlikely source. Canon pairings; warnings inside.

Loki, after his trouble in New York, gets imprisoned on Asgard, and tortured for what he has done. But a maid girl, Lia, shows pity on the lost prince, and sets him free. Lia has a secret, but will Loki use this secret against her? Or will this unite them?

About Loki when he was younger (way before Thor) and he is dealing with being hated and just having a hard time in general.

Relationships come unraveled as Loki's death travels through Asgard, leaving Thor, Sif, and even the human Jane Foster wondering where their true loyalties lie.

Loki is still a child when his brother is banished, and Frigga is really unable to run the realm, care for Odin and keep an eye on Thor. So, she turns to her youngest child and entrusts one of the activities to him; either the running of the realm, or the Odinsitting. It may seem ridiculous, but Loki is a fine diplomat, and all he really needs to do is make sure everything's okay.

Thor and Loki have resolved their differences and Loki returns to Asgard about as repentant as can be expected. Odin and Frigga are pleased by this but rather horrified that their sons have fallen in love with each other in the process. Non-Thor 2 compliant.

When death came near, Frigga recalled some moments of her life, and her hope for her sons

Sif knows jealousy well, has seen it in her reflection for everyday of her life, and this allows her to see Loki's own envy as they grow up together in the golden city of Asgard.

Natasha teaches Loki a lesson in delayed gratification.

Memories are something that even Gods hold dear to them in their long-spanned life. Through the darkness, there are some memories that Loki treasured above all others. Whether they were with his brother or not, he always would hold them dear. There were times in which he was happy, when he could smile without being forced.
