When Katara's tribe faces a food shortage, she takes a drastic step to ensure survival; enrolling herself in The Prince's Choice, a competition in the Fire Nation where Prince Zuko will choose a future wife from 35 girls. Zuko's under pressure to marry and produce an heir. One small problem - anytime he shows serious interest in a girl she leaves him with a flimsy excuse. Zuko reunites the Gaang and they send Katara undercover as a bridal candidate to flush the person who chased the other women away out. Of course it's all fun and games until someone loses their heart.

In order to arrange a treaty for the long standing war between the Water Tribe and Fire Nation, Prince Zuko is sent to the South Pole to arrange a truce by Fire Lord Lu Ten, where he is greeted by subzero temperatures, sea prunes, and quirky customs. This of course, is a cake walk compared to the revelation he'll be marrying the stubborn spiritual leader, Katara. AU. Zutara.

Years after the battle under Ba Sing Se, Katara and the Avatar are presumed dead and a successful General Zuko now leads his troops fighting rebel armies across the Earth Kingdom, but one of the rebels seems to have familiar face.

A hundred years after Avatar Roku stops the Fire Nation's attempts to take over the world, uprisings begin again in the Fire court. After the battles, the new Fire Lord, Zuko, seeks to reaffirm old alliances and looks for a bride from the Southern Water Tribe. Zutara, AU. Oneshot.

Zuko has developed an annoying and inconvenient crush on Katara, which is so incredibly unfair. Convinced she is out to torture him, Zuko is in for a barrage of emotions as people continue to get involved, even though he specifically asked them not to. Rated M because I'm a baby, for a bit of explicit language/content, and the deep complicated abyss that is Zuko's brain. Zutara.

ZKWeek13 - AU Modern: After being dumped on her birthday, Katara tags along on her brother's job to Ember Island. Things start off badly when Sokka's boss, the abdicated Fire Lord Iroh's over-worked nephew thinks he isn't good enough for the job, causing Katara to defend Sokka, leading into an argument in the middle of their very first meeting on that special, little island.

Katara is woman without a country, trapped in Japan during the peak of the Pacific War, and ends up finding comfort in the arms of the enemy. AU/Zutara/Sexual Situations

Pirates capture Zuko and Katara, leaving them mentally unstable and latched to each other. After finding his nephew and the waterbender, Iroh must keep a promise he made to the Avatar and teach him firebending. Everyone must realize what is most important in order to do what is right. Z/K

Post-Series/ZWeek12 - Azula was taken to the Southern Water Tribe in hopes of being rehabilitated, but three years later, Zuko finds himself not has happy with her progress as he thought when Azula and Ursa seem completely integrated in a new family without him. Katara reminds him that he is not alone and he swears to himself that as long as he is alive, she never will be, either.

Zuko and Katara are seniors in high school. He teases her, then ignores her. She despises him. But when Zuko's father kicks him out of the house and he has to move in with his hippie Uncle Iroh, he begins to see Katara in a new light. AU Zutara/Blutara.

*COMPLETE* In a world where Ozai wins, the Avatar is dead, their families are gone, all Katara and Zuko have is each other. Living in the South Pole they create a life together until they are forced back to the Fire Nation. M for dialogue, situations.

A year after the war's end, the gaang returns to the Fire Nation for a week of diplomatic meetings. There, they hear rumors about a vigilante who wears a blue mask and Katara finds herself digging deeper into his identity and motives. Blue/Zutara Lemons

Zuko and Katara serve tea at Iroh's shop, which leads to Zuko and Katara getting shamelessly hit on. Their solution to their pervert woes? Pretend to be a jealous couple in order to scare off the grab-happy folks of Ba Sing Se.

Katara shows up at the Fire Lord's with a bit of a...predicament. Post-series. Arguably Korra-canon compliant.
