Adjusting to his new life as a super hero, Chat Noir is drawn irresistibly to his super hero companion, Ladybug. But as they begin to find their way together – first as partners, then as friends – Chat becomes increasingly conflicted when he unexpectedly discovers mounting feelings for his alter-ego's classmate, Marinette. One fateful day, Hawkmoth wins — an akuma succeeds in taking the Cat Miraculous from Chat Noir. One step closer to victory, his plan is simple: use the kwami within the ring to lure out Ladybug and finally seize both Miraculous. Unfortunately, said plan of his immediately goes awry — Nooroo forgot to warn his master about Plagg, the kwami of destruction. Hijinks promptly ensues.

Marinette recharges her phone after Oblivio is defeated, and discovers that Adrien was one of the people she called while her memories were erased. Marinette quickly begins to piece together all the clues she left behind, leading to the strong suspicion that Adrien could be Chat Noir.

The miraculous lady bug is broken. It still works but the ladybugs fix nothing meaning that all evils commited can no longer be undone and everyone who dies from an akuma stays dead. Paris is now at war with Hawkmoth who taking full advantage. Nobody is safe anymore.

Taking place after Oblivio, Marinette starts having dreams of the encounter of Obilvo and what transpires during that time. She begins suspecting Adrien of being Chat Noir. Will she figure it out or remain oblivious? What will Chat do when Ladybug starts suspecting him?
