I am alone, in the woods, with no one but myself. I am panicking. Starving. Yet hoping. A thing that beats all fear is hope. My name is Starr, Daughter of Aphrodite, my best friends are missing and so is my brother. My Mom refuses to help me.

People have never treated me like I belong. I am always "That kid back there. Yeah, the one the with the brown hair. The weird one." No one bothers to know my name. I am dyslexic, and ADHD. The reason I ended up in the woods is because my Mom sent me. she told me to go to New York and follow doves. Uggh...my mom and doves. Seriously she should get a life it not all about being pretty.

I followed the doves for as long as I could (about three hours) and then they attacked. Harpies clawing at my eyes, desperately searching for food. I fought them as long as I could, swinging my sword without any plan when I passed out from exhaustion. When I woke I was looking up at a leopard head.

Of course, this is all in my head. I create stories just for fun. I love Greek Mythology and Rick Riordan's books, as well as Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Divergent.
