I am:

18 years old and attending the University of Michigan.

Always going to be a band dork...and proud of that fact! I've been playing french horn for 8 years now, and mellophone for 5 (that's a marching band french horn, for all you non-band dorks out there).

Obsessed with reading. My favorites include The Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton (though I think the quality of her writing has been steadily declining...hopefully her newest book will halt this trend), and anything by Amy Tan, Ray Bradbury,or Neil Gaiman. If you haven't read anything by Bradbury or Gaiman, go do so. NOW. It's an experience you don't want to miss out on.

Also a huge fan of anime and manga. As far as favorites go,that changes every few months. Right now, I'm really into Studio Ghibli (come on, you know you love Totoro) for anime, and the manga Vampire Game, Tarot Cafe, and Shutterbox. But, like with books, I read pretty much any manga that I can get my hands on...

An Orlando Bloom and a Johnny Depp fan girl. I admit this without shame.

Going to write and post something on this account eventually, I swear! In the mean time, I have angsty poetry from my 8th grade emo phase posted at fictionpress.net. Feel free to read it and laugh, or relate, as the case may be.
