Author has written 3 stories for Dragon Age. Hi folks, Not much to say here, I don't think. I'm a sucker for bioware fanfictions - and what follows are usually plot bunnies that I'm unable to keep hidden. Feel free to give me some concrit if you feel my writing is lacking - that's how we grow, is it not? - but if you do so, please articulate in a clear and respectful manner. Otherwise, you offer me the liberty of assuming you don't know what you're talking about. A note to the wise: I despise happy endings. Or, well, that's not true. I despise clean endings. Life isn't clean. I don't feel like stories should be either. I also tend to be (slightly) experimental in what I write. I don't know how much of that will transfer into my fanfiction works (it comes out most clearly in my original works) but if it's not your thing, I won't be offended. The Spaces Between:I still love this story. I will be finishing it. In fact, I have the ending all worked out - it's just getting to the ending that's the problem. Immolation:I don't want to call this the beginning of a series, because "series" seems to imply something vast and more than vaguely conceptualized... Originally, it was to be woven into a completely different narrative instead of standing alone, but it felt like that piece would be too massive. I also felt like breaking up the origin story into pieces would only limit their emotional ressonance instead of emphasizing it. I believe the next part of this collection - "collection" is so much less intimidating than "series" - will probably amount to a series of long-ish drabbles, perhaps similar in nature to The Spaces Between in terms of structure. |
