The Bennet Orphans must make their way in an unforgiving world which does little to aid poor and powerless females with only their charms to recommend them. This is their story. AU with a HEA (but not an easy journey) Rated T for allusions to adult situations and violence, no descriptive content of either.

After an unfortunate carriage accident, Elizabeth Bennet becomes separated from her family. She eventually finds herself working as a servant in Derbyshire. While working as a chambermaid, Elizabeth is able to help Fitzwilliam Darcy, who has suffered a severe trauma. Note: this story contains references to sexual assault.

What if Elizabeth didn't receive a letter from Darcy following his disastrous proposal in Kent? What if Mr Darcy received some worrying news that altered his need for a wife? Darcy finds himself in urgent need of an heir and his quest to find a suitable wife drastically alters the events of Pride and Prejudice. Will they ever be able to overcome their misunderstandings?

What if Jane and Elizabeth had not been in Meryton to meet Wickham? What if they had spent some additional time with Darcy and Bingley that day instead? And what if in a moment of weakness, or courage, Darcy allowed Elizabeth to glimpse his growing feelings for her? How might all of their paths have been different from the story we know and love?

The famous letter never reached its target. It is now 1814, and Elizabeth Bennet is desperate, desperate enough to seek out the man she scorned and accept a proposal from three years before... even if Mr. Darcy is not quite the man she remembers. AU, Regency.

Return to the world of No Good Deed with a twist - small changes escalate and take us down a different road to Will and Lizzy's HEA. What would Will Darcy's life be like if his father always believed George Wickham's lies? What would Lizzy's life be like if she was one of six children? Are good deeds still bad when they are altered? What will be the outcome of altered deeds?

Following the death of her most beloved sister, Elizabeth moves to the Big Apple to try to break into the Music Industry. Mr. Darcy, of Darcy Records, initially thinks she has little talent, too much weight and is too old to make it in his world. It doesn't take long, though, for his opinion to undergo a dramatic change. M chapters start in Chapter 8.

As suggested in the title of Jane Austen's original work, Darcy's greatest failing is pride. His passionate love for Elizabeth only mitigates this character flaw, resulting in the awful proposal at Hunsford. If happenstance forced Darcy to marry Elizabeth before he loved her, or even knew her at all, would he ever be able to get past his pride to recognise his fortune?

Darcy and Elizabeth first meet and form a friendship months after Jane marries Bingley. The words of a friend can cut deeper than those of an enemy...can their friendship survive or will it turn into something more?

Mr. Darcy suffered from a tragic past to become richer, harsher and more worldly; having grown up as a tomboy, Elizabeth has a harder time seeing herself as the beautiful woman she's become. The story takes place in a darker P&P world. Rated M for explicit sexual content and references to nonconsensual sex. Adult audiences only. AU and HEA.

Darcy does not encounter Elizabeth at Pemberley, Lydia is lost and the Bennet family's reputation is ruined.

Darcy did not make it to Ramsgate to prevent the elopement and so did not go to Netherfield. How will he react to Elizabeth now, eighteen months after Georgiana's elopement, when he has suffered from such a great betrayal of trust?

"You see what a strange circumstance it is," she said, feeling some fleeting relief. "You know our acquaintance has not been easy." Elizabeth wakes up to find she and Darcy have been married ten years. This story has been published as Side By Side, Apart. The first chapter remains up as a preview.

Prologue only. TU published 5th April, 2017. Darcy's world implodes when his mistress declares she's marrying a duke and his Uncle Fitzwilliam, the Earl of Matlock, insists he should do his duty and marry to produce an heir. HEA but angsty.

Darcy's horse casts a shoe while riding to Pemberley which causes him to miss encountering Elizabeth Bennet who is touring the estate. Thus he is unable to show her his change in behaviour, fails to learn of her improved opinion of him, fails to meet the Gardiners, and fails to learn what happens to Lydia. (Updates on hold for a week or two)

"One false step involves her in endless ruin. . . " In this story, one (literal) false step causes a chain reaction of events that will result in Elizabeth's forced marriage to Darcy. Now a completed story available for sale on Amazon. This is only the first three chapters.

Darcy never succeeded in finding Wickham and Lydia on time. Wickham left the young girl pregnant and fled to the continent. The Bennet family is ruined. Too ashamed to stay near Longbourn, Elizabeth decides to leave her family to become a governess in London.

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

Six awful months and Elizabeth Bennet loses her respectability, her home and her hopes for the future. What she doesn't count on is Mr. Darcy appearing to help. His ideas are unorthodox, but he might be the only chance she has. ***Rating Change with Chapter Ten*** COMPLETE

The Gardiners' trip to The Lakes is not postponed and Elizabeth never visits Pemberley.

Elizabeth is slightly more perspicuous and thoughtful, and does not fall for Wickham's story, leading to an earlier resolution to a attachment to Darcy. Mrs. Gardiner also plays an expanded role.

Jane comes across Mrs Hurst and Miss Bingley in a store in London during her visit. How might this change the story?

When Miss Lydia Bennet is attacked on the road to Meryton on the morning after the Netherfield Ball, suspicions arise on all fronts. Was it a local tradesman's son? Highwaymen? Are the militia men responsible, or will they be the ones to apprehend the murderer? And why has the Netherfield party run off to London the morning after their ball? Truly, a most untoward circumstance...

An alternate ending to the story "Two Hearts as One". Margaret and Mr. Thornton's relationship has taken a new turn as events in Milton have unfolded. But does this change her actions when her brother appears? (Story begins at chapter 18 of the original story.)

Three years before the events of Pride and Prejudice, Darcy meets Elizabeth and falls in love with her lively eyes but never learns her name. How will this affect the course of the story, does it change at all?

At the end of New Moon, Edward told Bella that he couldn't have stayed away much longer, that he was already considering returning to her. If Jacob had run just a little faster and had stopped Bella before she jumped, would having a little more time to heal have changed Bella's heart? And would Edward have been happy with what he found when he returned?

At a time when the eldest Bennet sisters should begin families of their own, life perhaps holds other things in mind along the way.

what if Mr.Darcy was twenty one, and Elizabeth was only sixteen? how would the story go, if Mr. Darcy had to rescue Elizabeth? a story of young love.

When an unexpected event disrupts the Netherfield ball, Mr. Darcy finds out that leaving Hertfordshire and Elizabeth Bennet behind is more easily said than done.

What if Lydia hadn't gone to Brighton, and never eloped with Wickham? What if Jane's letters to Lizzy didn't bring bad news? What would have happened then when Darcy came to call on Lizzy at the inn? A second chance...
