![]() Author has written 5 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Blade Runner, and Lord of the Rings. Hey! My pen name is Celtic goddess of Fertility. But I guess you figured that one out already, huh? A Bit of Background - I've been writing fanfiction for a while, and dreaming about it for even longer. You could say I have an overreactive imagination. Recently my surge has died off, thanks to reality finally being better than my dreams, but I'm still writing. Favorite Movies - I like a wide variety, but here are a few The Lion King, yes the Lion King, is my all-time favorite movie. Favorite Books - Anything by Terry Pratchett. He is really, really funny. Also, Stephanie Meyer and C.S. Lewis, especially the Space Trilogy. And J. R. R. Tolkein. Jane Austen, Dan Brown, some Jodi Picoult, Douglas Adams, Dystopian novels, the Hunger Games, Terry Pratchett, Terry Pratchett, Terry Pratchett. Favorite Music - I love that old time Rock n' Roll! Another random sampling of my taste. Favorite Quotes - (Under Construction) Hobbies - Playing sports, tennis and soccer particularly, but I like 'em all. Chicago Cubs and Bears. Reading. Uh, cooking. Sprechen die Deutsch. Just whatever, nothing special. Other stuff - I have curly hair and sing in the shower and bite my nails. That's about it. Oh, and my little profile picture is of the Beatles :) My Stories The first one, Kissed by the Sun, was just a little something I thought up one time that sort of snowballed into a 18 chapter story. It starts sometime before the North Pole, and ends right after the Day of Black Sun. The main character, Avalon, is one that I made up. I stole her special abilities from a whole bunch of superheroes though. Anyway, it is complete, and I got enough feedback so I started a sequel. These first two are ... not my best, in my personal opinion, but they're the first, long, organized stories I've ever written, and I think they helped give me some perspective (not to mention, respect) for all writers anywhere. Just a warning, they're Mary-Sue in it's finest form, and cheesy love stories. Like I said, not my best. But anyway, give them a read because ... you love me? Eh, whatever. Read 'em :) The sequel, Behind Blue Eyes, starts a year after the Day of Black Sun. I finally completed it and put the Zuvalon saga to rest. I just finished up a story called They Call Me The Breeze. It's about a person who Bruce meets during his stay with the League of Shadows. It's over, but has been an absolute joy to write (even though I sweat blood with every chapter I post), and may spawn a few spin-offs, either a Supernatural themed one featuring Breezy again, or (a reviewer put this idea in my head and it hasn't left yet, so that's probably a good sign) a sort of, the Life and Times if Everybody's Favorite Justice Crack-Pot, Henri Ducard. or along those lines. To Make an Omelet is just a one-shot. I was watching this sweet, old Harrison Ford movie called Blade Runner and, I don't know, I felt the need to write something and this just sort of popped out. Not the greatest thing ever, I'm sure, but at the time it was a sweet point. Check it out :) Renegade is my recently finished story about an exiled elf who joins the Fellowship (and, yes, falls in love with Legolas. What else!). It's been a long time coming, but I'm glad to have finished it up! So, please give them a read and maybe even a review. I always try to play down reviewing, like, oh, it's no biggie, but it really is and we all know it so I won't bullshit with you guys anymore. I like to know that my stories are being read and enjoyed, and the only way for me to know is if you guys review. I promise not to nag about it, because I'm the suffer-in-silence type, but know that I am suffering. Oh, and I have this thing about being able to fly, which might explain some aspects of my stories :) |
