This is an old, unpublished fic from a Sam/Jack challenge in 2002. It's just a silly bit of fluff.

Written for the " I CALLED HIM SIR" fic challenge, and inspired by Amanda Tappings revaltions that she often dreamt in character as Samantha Carter about a certain handsome Colonel... "I Called Him Sir, I think he liked it..."

After the Zatarc test Sam spoke first, and she wanted to leave it in the room. In this story Jack had other plans, and it doesn't take him too long to find his voice. Lots of fluff, a little love, and of course family coming their way.

Life is about to change for Jack and Sam. All it took was alien interference and a few clichés.

Sam thought she was dealing pretty well but, alone in the dark, it's not so easy. Fortunately, a special someone is there to remind her that she's not so alone after all. Post-"Threads", while the gang is on their fishing trip to Jack's cabin.

The Colonel stares at her with a blank expression, and she'd give anything to know what he is thinking. But it's almost like the look he gets just before he makes some self-sacrificing decision that he knows she will protest to.

There's a lot to deal with after the wedding is called off. Sam decides to take care of one particular piece of it, seeing as she's in the neighborhood. But things don't exactly go as planned. Post-Threads. Sam and Jack.
