![]() Author has written 3 stories for Redwall. Hurrhurr, moi name bes zurr Russano ee Wise, an oi be a gurt skolar. But you'ms can jurst calls oi Russano. Oim not but a gurt badgery feller with very little toime furr writin' an such. Oi loikes eatin' and readin' alust as much as oi loikes sleepin hurrhurr... I wonder what it would be like being a mole... Well chaps, I'm a teenager who loves Redwall and flippin well proud of it. All stories that I write will be Redwall related, and I doubt I will introduce new characters. Chances are I'll just build on old ones, or sum up their lives in a poem. I prefer writing poems to actual stories because they come to me quickly and are inspired by another work. I'm actually not really a big fan of writing, truth be told, I hate doing it in school. However, if something does interest me then I'll create some story to accompany it. One of the scenes in the Redwall series that has always stuck with me was the one where Rose died. I'm not the crying type, but am a fan of happy endings. That scene, no matter how much I tell myself is fictional, always ends up with me spending the entire day in my room dwelling on it. It is likely that many of my works will be concerning Martin or Martin and Rose because there is so much that could have been, which invariably leads to the basis of a good story, or a long poem. A good song/ballad/ode/whatever always affects more than a story, because it's easy to remember, catchy, and often symbolic. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather read a nice long story, but unless it's really good, it won't stick with me forever. I enjoy reading, playing baseball, and just hanging out with my friends. I consider school a necessary evil, but if given the choice, I guess I'd rather go than not. In my spare time (which is rare nowadays) I'm usually reading Redwall, or surfing the net. Recently I've been on YouTube watching the TV series for Redwall. It's pretty good, but can't compare with the book (a theme that seems to hold true for many books that are made into movies). I'd like to think of myself as a nice, amiable fellow who has a lot to offer once I get past the barrier of meeting someone new. My favorites (cause I'm just bored right now) I decided to separate by species because otherwise it's too hard: Mice: Luke the Warrior Badgers: Russano the Wise Otters: Bragoon Squirrels: Janglur Swifteye Hares: Major Perigord Hanbile Sinastra Hedgehogs: Sollertree Shrews: Log a Log (The Long Patrol) Moles: Gurth others include: Rose, Song, Boar, Joseph, Folgrim, Gonff, Rakkety Tam, Dandin, Rab, Dann, Finbarr and of course Martin the Warrior. If I had to be one creature (cause I'm REALLY bored right now) it would probably be an otter or a squirrel because they can go places others can't. My favorite books are Mossflower and The Long Patrol. I wish Jaques would write more books that continue from where a previous story left off. Much of the stuff I post will be spur-of-the-moment type ideas that pop into my head, and usually take the place of a poem. Although, right now I am working on the basis of a Martin-Rose story. It will hold true to canon, and will be after Martin the Warrior, and involve many events in Mossflower. Strange, I know, but I won't say anymore, for fear of getting someone's hopes up. Anyway, I'm new to this site, so I'd appreciate it if you could review what I've done and give me your thoughts. I'm always wondering how to improve anything I do, so feel free to let me know exactly what you think. A compliment is just a well received as critisicm. Cheers mates |
