Hello merry reading people!

I have -- gasp -- written a story!

I know. Shocking.

Actually, I only wrote about half of it... this other author here asked me to finish it and post it. Something about it being a gift for a friend but she doesn't like writing lemons? The part of it that she wrote is much better than what I wrote. (She wrote the first nine hundred and sixty-two words of it, minus the author's note. I wrote the rest.)

I had lots of fun writing it anyways.

Make sure you check out her stories!

(her penname is topazandteapots)

If you really want to bother her, ask her to post some of the "fluffics"she tried to write. They all turned out incredibly angsty, dark, and depressing. I found it hilarious.

Hopefully I will actually get aroung to writing some real stories of my own,

Let's clean up the Twilight section of ff.net!

Take a look at all of your stories.

Reread them all.

Remove any that you do not like anymore.

Go through them again.

Remove any that you would dislike if you were not high on sugar or caffeine or some such thing.

Count how many are left.

Look at their reviews.

Remove any that have more negative reviews than positive.

Now remove any that are not written in full sentences. This does not have to include note passing stories or MSN stories, because many of them should have been removed at the stage where it was advised that you remove all stories that you either dislike upon rereading, or would dislike if you were not high on caffeine or sugar.

Next, look at all of your stories that are not marked "complete." Either change them so that they ARE marked as completed, delete them, or, if through rereading them you have become re-inspired, resolve to continue them AND ACTUALLY DO SO.

If you don't have too many or too long stories, try completely rewriting and reposting them as the same story, especially the older ones. You may find that this is a fun exercise and very rewarding. And you'll probably like your stories better after reworking them.

If you have any stories on concepts that have been done hundreds of times, or were originally in canon and now are not, at least consider removing them.

Not to be rude, but learn grammar, accept grammatical corrections from reviewers, get a Beta, do SOMETHING so that all of your stories have proper grammar.

Remove any 'stories' that are author's notes, challenge announcements, hiatus notices, etc. if you haven't already.

Remove everything that you've placed in the Twilight fandom that isn't a Twilight fanfic.

Clearly label all poetry as such.

Don't remove anything that you genuinely like and are proud of.

Copy and paste this into your profile when you've finished. Spread the word!

Alice, of course, watched the entire meadow scene. She had to, just in case. Well, alright, so she was curious. And she had to interfere, just a little... Canon APOV
