What brought me to Fanfiction:

What brought me at first were the many amazing stories written throughout the site. I loved them so much that bookmarking them on my computer wasn't enough. So I created an account to favorite stories and later authors. Nowadays, I'm into writing myself, hopefully being able to raise half as high as many amazing writers here.

I love Zelda-related stories, especially if Link's involved! SmashBrothers, FireEmblem or any other crossover, doesn't matter! I love Link for many different reasons I could easily list, but won't do it otherwise we'd all be sitting 'til next life.

My list is full of favorites and I highly recommend looking at them, both the stories as well as the artists' list! They belong to the most epic writers ever!!

Though, sadly, sometimes the writers think their work is not good enough or they feel ashamed and simply take down their work. I find that sad because while the stories might be old and 'unworthy' in the eyes of the writer, I believe a lot of readers quite enjoyed reading them and wouldn't mind having another go at it.

I have witnessed a few of my earlier faved stories dissapear into thin air. I remember part of the plots, but the great part is POOF gone. For example, one of the stories I've been trying to find (without success) speaks of Link appearing in Ike's world, not really understanding squat, but still manages to get someone that bumped into him help, whereas, Ike takes Link back to their camp where they have a fight ordered by Ike's father and Ike gets total asswooping by 'someone who's a head shorter'. I remember this story because later, Ike tests this statement and puts his chin on top of Link's head, confirming that he really was a head shorter, leaving Link to wonder what the heck was going on.

I have not given up to finding this story or its author, but with lack of time and clues, it's very difficult... Perhaps you read it too and know where to find it? *puppydog eyes*

I'll be using this section to post a small list of stories I thought of, but still need that certain something (or simply because I'm too lazy to write them right away). It's mostly to help me keep track of my own thought train as it loves to rush from station to station, leaving me high and dry.

Title: (Legend of) Evergreen

Summary: It was during the Great War that they came. Like Tear Drops falling from the skies, they landed scattered across the lands all over the world. At first, the mere sight of the massive structures induced fear, but soon people realized they were more than visitors from outside. Seas dried out and rain stopped falling, causing the lands to quickly turn into unbearable deserted wastelands where no life could find a home. Nearly all life was wiped from the planet's surface and water became very rare. Only small dispersed communities, sustained by the visitors through food and water in exchange of the people's submission, remnants of the once populated earth.
Ike is tired of the way everyone behaves and wishes nothing more than to leave and join the resistance against the visitors, but his friends and grandfather often keep him from leaving. That is until the day a small group of fighters attacks the visitors and one of them gets seriously injured. Obligated to help, Ike carries the injured man to his hideout where he learns a little more about the resistance and decides to follow them that very night. Surprised that his friends had come too, the small group makes its way towards the town's walls, beyond nothing more than the sandy wastelands, leaving behind everything they've ever known. Little did the friends know that passing those walls would be more than just an act of rebellion as an explosion brings them near death and an angel saves their lives. An angel that will change their lives and that of the world... forever.

Was any of it real or did Ike just drown in his own fantasies and just dreamed the whole thing? And if it wasn't a dream... will Link ever be able to forgive him such an atrocious act...?

Link and Ike are normal college students, preparing for a life society would grant as acceptable. They met in High School and have been friends ever since. But Ike knows that Link has secrets the blond would never share. Like why he never comes to his night parties with Marth and the others or why he often shows up tired as hell in the morning. And who keeps sending those mysterious calls and messages? Link had secrets. That much he knew.

Everything goes well until the day a strange youngster comes to their school. And with him, a strange serious of mysterious deaths. But what unnerves Ike the most is not the clean kills with lack of evidence spoken of in every media... but the strange blond with the lifeless blue eyes who seems devote of any kind of emotion. And the future encounter they have does not make things any easier.

Summary: Set in the future. For decades have humans been at war with the aliens. After successfully recovering Earth's environment, alien forces began to fear human potential and took the decision to destroy this menace once and for all. Unfortunately for them, humans never were the type to bend and break so easily. Building colonies and outerspace forts, humans have been successfully defending their home from the alien invasion. But it never was an easy task as their ships are powerful and fast, despite their sizes.
David, more overly known as Snake for his vicious and fast attacks without warning, is one of the Halbadier's best fighters. He and his co-pilot have been in every mission, successfully taking down several alien ships, protecting the front and becoming of the most feared fighters. The man never truly cared for his enemies, destroying them without second thought. Until the day one of the alien ships did not blow up completely and curiosity grabbed him by the neck. But he does not know whether to curse or bless the moment he opened the ship's airdocks and entered, for what he finds inside will change, not only his life and view on everything he's ever known... but also the outcome of this war that has been raging for decades.

Ganondorf likes to personally revise every new batch of slaves that came to serve his many demands. And every new batch, there were always those he didn't like and went straight to the yard. This went on for many years. Until the day a special slave stepped through his doors. A young hylian male with hair like gold. What captivated the King the most... were those defiant blue eyes.

And it's in this particular young man that a particular young girl has found interest in. She strongly believes that she can convince him to help her overthrow Ganondorf and return Hyrule to its former glory. But can her own stubbornness be enough to change this arrogant and egocentric young thief's mind and have him lend her his skills? Or will he leave her hanging and dry?

And because everyone feels that way about him, no one within the mansion knows anything about the man. Except Master Hand, but the giant hand refuses to give away information just like that. So Snake remains a silent mystery to everyone. But Link is determined to become friends with the man, even if it kills him.

Summary: When Ganondorf set the Gerudos to attack Hyrule Castle, a young mother and her newborn child flee the town from the massacre, heading for the only possible safety she can think of. However, she is stopped in her tracks by the King of Thieves himself and although she begs for him to have mercy, her pleas fall on silent ears. Staring at the motionless body on the ground, the Gerudo notices a movement and curious as to what the bundle held, he took and unfold it, revealing a small child. Not caring at first, the man decides to quickly dispose of the small bundle, but when the baby opens its clear blue eyes and stares innocently at the thief king, something within the broad man clicks and he can't bring himself to hurt the child. So the King of Thieves takes upon the decision to take the child under his wing and raise it as his own. Naturally, the Twinrovas are not happy about the decision and things only grow worse when the sorceresses reveal that the child is the Chosen Hero destined to destroy Ganondorf and his plan of obtaining ultimate power. How will the Gerudo feel upon this revelation after two years of raising Link as his own son? And what will the child do once it grows into adulthood? Of it grows into adulthood...

Summary: With the raise of the Dark Emperor, the continent of Corentin is overrun by war, death and destruction as the Black Knights march through the land from village to village, city to city, devastating everything in their path. The small village of Mitya is no exception to the Knights' ruthless advances, slaughtering everything that dares cross their way. This small village served as home to Ike and his four friends and watching it burn to the ground is the worst that could happen. Saved by the rebel army risen by the Princess Zelda who lost her kingdom of Arin, the youngsters beg the princess to join the army, but she refuses as she will not have children fight for their cause, no matter how noble it may seem, but allows them to remain in the town of Raini where the rebels hold their headquarters as they have nowhere else to go. While wandering aimlessly, they meet with a very strange character who seems to hold a dear grudge against them and their plans of joining the army for the sheer purpose of revenge, but over the course of time, they, especially Ike, have the chance to know this individual a little better as well as find out the true reason of the Emperor's march throughout the land; he is chasing after an old legend. According to that legend, somewhere in the world there lies hidden an ancient crystal with an immense power. It is said the crystal can restore all life without exception. What people don't know is that this crystal is more than what is believed. Much... much more.
