Originally 'It Almost Feels Like A Joke' but this title seems better suited for the fic.

Beca and her father made a deal that if she really gave Barden a shot, he'd fund her move to LA at the end of the school year. She only has a few months left to convince him that she did try. Which means Chloe only has a few months to convince Beca to stay. Slight AU retelling of the movie so that BeChloe are canon.

Sequel to 'I could be the one'. Beca and Chloe are Hollywood's most favored couple, and they've only been married for 3 months. Life can't get much better than it is right now for the two of them. When they both have a month off work, they decide to re-visit their honeymoon location: San Diego, before they get thrown back into the real world. Sounds like a perfect vacation, right?

I really enjoy the Beca/Chloe character contrast. I think that's what's so interesting about this ship. This story is something I've been working on for a few months actually. It started off as just some random drabble, Beca/Chloe interactions, but progressed into more. It kind of follows the movie, but not really. It's mostly just backdrop for the dialogue I wanted to create.

Its been a year since Beca graduated from Barden, but other than that nothing has changed. She still hated movies, found the color pink repulsive, and love was still just a hazardous chemical that shouldn't be dabbled with. But when Chloe shows up out of the blue after five years, she feels like a toddler who's just gotten into her mother's cleaning supplies: curious and tempted.
