Set after "Requiem". Leo goes to tell Karai about Splinters death, he ends up learning that being the leader doesn't always mean putting on a brave face.

Karai gains new information and makes a decision Leo doesn't agree with.

Leo takes Karai to visit Master Splinter's final resting place. As they grieve together, hidden emotions surface. Leorai. A little bit of my more poetic prose.

What if while the turtles were back in time Mikey took Miwa with him back to the future. Now Splinter has a second chance to raise Miwa, but that means Karai didn't exist. But it's odd, life hasn't changed so does that mean this was always supposed to happen or maybe not? Rated-T
