As much as she'd like to see it, it would be naive to think that things would be any different in the new world. Lightning has been avoiding the growing conflict from the civil war in the west, after witnessing an atrocity she can't stand by any longer.

Lightning Farron never considered herself to be religious, or superstitious. She didn't believe in heaven nor hell, or that a war had raged behind the veil for millennia unknown to humanity. When her sister is caught in the crossfire, the stoic pink-haired woman is unwittingly thrown into a firestorm of biblical proportions with a price that could be too high to pay.

When an undercover operation goes drastically haywire, Lieutenant Claire Farron finds herself in the middle of a gang war with no way out. With her superiors seeing it as an opportunity for the take-down of lifetime, they instruct her to get closer to the eccentric charismatic leader.. But at what cost?

AU. Lightning had trouble trusting anyone new due to a past which broke her heart. War between Cocoon and Gran Pulse long ago had made Lightning and Fang harbor hate in each others' nation and its fellow natives. When Lightning was transferred to a university in Paddra, she ended up living with a Pulsian. And Fang wasn't at all welcoming at the Cocoonian's presence.

Three years since Cocoon's Fall and the end of the War of Revelations, the people of the once enclosed shell in the sky have been slowly adjusting to life on Gran Pulse. When Lightning's prayers are answered and her two friends are given back from their crystal sleep, will they all be able to adjust to a life with no conflict?

At Edenfell Prison, it is not just the prisoners that are corrupt, as everything begins to unfurl just as a new prison governor starts. Along with it, a forbidden attraction. Fang/Lightning. AU. Includes other FF guest characters. Based off TV show 'Bad Girls'.
