Hi! Welcome to my page :)

Well...I guess this would be the part where I'm supposed to tell you a little about myself. Do you know how HARD that can be for a person who rambles as badly as I do? Okay, don't get scared and run off--I'll try to keep it brief...hmm...

First things first, my real name is Emmaleigh. My parents liked 'Emma', my mother's middle name is 'Leigh', and thus was it born. A lot of people have trouble with it, and I don't really get why. It's just one word, you say it like "Emily". See? Easy enough!

I've been reading fan fiction for ages and writing my own stories even longer. A few years ago I finally got an account on this site so I could review some of the rad stories I was reading. (It's our civic duty!!) But, I never got up the nerve to post until very recently. Now, I know I'm NOT the best author out there, but it's fun! After dabbling around in several fandoms: Drake & Josh...21 Jump Street...Castle, etc... Big Time Rush just seemed like the best fit at the time. I hear tell the BTR fandom is the nicest in the fanfic universe! And I believe it! I love reading everything you guys put out, love reviewing, love random chats about all things BTR and toaster strudels...

I'm 24 and a total closet rusher.

Prolly too old to be watching this show, huh? (I'LL BE 25 ON JANUARY 20th!!) But how can I help it? The boys seem like such nice, pleasant, level-headed young men...and handsome too! And tv soundtrack filler or not, (I say NOT) their music inspires me. It couldn't have come at a better time. It just makes me happy :) Sometimes it’s nice to indulge in a little, guilt free- good clean, goofy fun.

The Monkees has been one of my favorite shows since I was tiny, and I gotta give Scott Fellows his props for taking what worked with that show and bringing it to the modern scene without turning it into another failed pop-crap past hit recreation.

In other news:

My jobs--I have a bunch of jobs :P Went to college but still don't know what I wanna be when I 'grow up'. I work at Band Camp every summer! It is by far, the greatest job ever...I am the biggest band nerd in the world :P The rest of the year I substitute teach, make and decorate icecream cakes, and tidy the church my family attends.

My life is totally different now than it was years ago, and I have God to thank for that. He brought me from years of bitterness, anxiety attacks, depression...crap...To a happy, peaceful life of joy :) Now I have love to spare! And it's so awesome :)

In my free time I love to do anything art related (drawing, painting, etc.), Act a little, sing ALL THE TIME--whether anybody wants to hear it or not, sew, crochet, craft, fool around with computers and gagets, read a lot!

My favorite music and movies would be far too much to list...so I'll just put my top 2-3

The Beatles!! House of Heroes!!(Seen them so many times, the band knows me by name XD) Flyleaf, Michael Jackson, Bread, just about anything from the 60's and 70's and Christian rock, little punk and indie, and of course BTR! A7X, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan...Anthem Lights...

Fave books: The Holy Bible, The Giver, To Kill a Mockingbird, Th1rteen R3asons Why, Treasure Island, About A Boy, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

Movies: HELP! (It's a Beatles thing...seen it over 35 times), Edward Scissorhands, Forrest Gump, Mr. Holland's Opus, Pirates of The Caribbean, Spider-Man...tons and tons more...
