Hi everyone, my pen-name is Daughter of Egypt and I am new here at Fanfiction! I’ve always loved listening to others tell stories and legends so I decided to give it a try for myself. Well, this is a little bit about myself:

-My true birth name in written English is Sahla (sa-ha-la) which means ‘flowing or graceful’, when translated from Arabic.

-I am a half- blooded Egyptian (pretty cool, huh?), the other half of me is American, or polish to be exact.

-I am seventeen years old; I have long, dark brown hair (down to my waist), tan skin (Egyptian) and light blue eyes with gray streaks (polish blood!)

-I have lived in America all my life, although my mother and my ancestors’ come from Cairo, Egypt, along the Nile River!

-This is probably the most unusual thing: though I am half Egyptian, all my family are Catholics. My mother converted and I was born Catholic. My fate, belief, and love lies with the God who freed the people of Jerusalem from my ancestors.

Anyway, that’s me. As for hobbies I love to read, and write. I am an experienced singer and love to spend hours outside, just working on a new song (I write music too), drawing, or relaxing with friends or my boy. I adore animals, particularly horses and wolves. I have been training horses expertly for about five years, and have been training since I was about 3 years old! I also like to play volley ball, run track, and play soccer, but I also love to practice my dancing (Egyptian belly dancing). I’m also a cheerleader and just starting softball! Apart from that I LOVE to shop, laugh, smile and just be ME!
