![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Hello to anyone who happens to be reading this! Some things about me: My family is my everything. I try hard to stand up for what I believe in. My little sister and brother are two of the most amazing people in the world (I may be just a little biased). I absolutely adore random facts and information, and though I don't know everything, I know a little bit about a lot of different things, and that suits me just fine. My main hobby is reading. I love writing as well, though I have gotten away from it over the years. However, I'm determined to return to it. I love animals and I would love to not love meat, but alas...I do. Sorry to any vegetarian/vegan friends out there. Music means a lot to me, and from classical to Rock N' Roll, I can always find comfort in listening to great music. My favorite movie of all time is Armageddon. This is closely followed by Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. I don't think I could pick one single favorite book if I had to, because I've got so many favorites. It would be very difficult for me to choose just one as THE one. The one that I love above the rest, that is. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte would be very near the top of the list, though, and the 1997 movie adaptation with Samantha Morton and Ciaran Hinds is high on my list of favorite movies as well. Harry Potter is one of my greatest passions, and I thoroughly enjoy reading the whole series over and over again. I hope the way I feel while reading them never grows old. I'm not much of a TV show person, and until The Walking Dead, I never had a show that I absolutely adored and watched religiously. So, TWD was a revelation for me, though I'm having a lot of mixed emotions over how they're handling things in the midst of the current season. We'll see what happens...I'll watch it loyally unless it becomes completely ludicrous, but Rick (no matter how you felt about him) was in many ways the very FOUNDATION of the show. It just feels crappy and somehow inauthentic (and to a certain degree, pointless) now that his character is gone. My sister is a fan of the graphic novels and has long been trying hard to get me to read them. I've resisted, being afraid that they would ruin the show for me, as she is constantly telling me there are a lot of big and important differences between the novels and the show. Since the show has meant so much to me, I've steered clear of them. Now however, the show has changed dramatically. I've been forced to be frank with myself and admit that it may not remain worth watching for much longer. Bearing that in mind, I'm seriously considering making my next read Days Gone By. Why not, after all? Genuine laughter absolutely is the best medicine this world has to offer us. Make a commitment to find good-natured humor wherever you can. You'll feel better for it. My favorite Harry Potter pairings are: Tonks & Remus Tonks & Charlie Draco & Hermione Draco & Ginny Padma & George My favorite The Walking Dead pairings are: Daryl & Beth Rick & Beth Negan & well, pretty much any female character, original or otherwise (as long as Negan is a part of the story, you know?) I also really have a thing for Daryl and Sasha. You can ask me why if you want to, but I don't think I'd be able to give you a meaningful answer. I just feel it for some reason, and I've been highly frustrated by the nearly complete lack of stories featuring this pairing. I've only found one that was truly good. It's been so frustrating, in fact, that I'm thinking about just writing some myself. To clarify, the only time I'm supportive of this pairing is in a universe where Beth and Abraham are both gone but Daryl and Sasha are both alive. Otherwise, I'm a full on supporter of Daryl and Beth (because how could you not be?! They were so perfect for each other!). Most of the time, in my head (just to keep myself sane) Beth is alive and well and she and Daryl are together AS THEY SHOULD BE. In a perfect world, at least. Thanks for reading my profile. I truly hope you are doing well. And remember: "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you into something else is the greatest accomplishment." -Ralph Waldo Emerson Warmest Regards, eruditeamber |
