SORRY FOR THIS (PLEASE READ):

I know I've been terrible (okay... understatement of the century) with updates. I don't really want to explain myself in detail because, quite frankly, I don't think I can. Long story short... There is just too much going on in my life; In my personal life (friendship wise and family wise) and school life, as exams are fast approaching again and I NEED to get into a good university. And due to this, the beta whom is working with me on the next chapter to "Hoshi no Kodomo", and I have not been able to get together enough to finish the chapter. It's nearly done, but it's been that way for a a bit now. There's just too much stuff going on in my life and hers at the moment.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm making an excuse, because I'm not. I'm going through a lot of CRAP (and if you know me... I do NOT swear, so for me to say this, it means I'm more than serious and this is major) in my life and I cannot deal with the pressure of trying to write these stories to meet their potential AND figure out life right now AND stay on top of school work. It's hard enough trying to stay on top of the school work.

Therefore, "Ichidou" will not be finished, I am sad to say. If, however, someone wishes to take over the story, please PM me and we'll talk. Other than that, I knew where the story was going once... And now I'm lost.

With "Hoshi no Kodomo"... I've come way too far in that one to NOT finish it. I WILL finish it, just not now. And when I do get around to updating, which I hope will be before school finishes but no promises, the updates will be one right after the other for a quick finish. There aren't that many chapters left.

I am sorry to disappoint... But, as some of you know, things just come up. And if it was small, I would say "oh well" and keep going. But these problems AREN'T small and I can't toss them aside. These, as dramatically as it sounds, are turning my world upside down right now. And I feel absolutely wretched for not being able to A) continue the one story... B) update HnK... and C) put anything new up.

I don't want to close down my account... And I probably won't... But please accept my apology and don't be mad at me. Please?

Again... If anyone WANTS to take over "Ichidou" and ALREADY HAS IDEAS... Please PM me and maybe we can work something out.

She's not far in it, and hasn't told me much about what is going to happen, but I have a feeling a certain character will make an appearance that will twist the plot (smiles) So please give it a glance if you have a chance!!

Hoshi No Kodomo - Chapter 33:

Tsukiko tossed in her bed. That voice...there it was again, and this time, it was real...it was...downstairs. She bolted up, and struggled into a dressing gown, then knocked frantically on Akatsuki's door.

When he didn't respond quickly, Tsukiko summoned her magic to unlock it and dragged him out of bed. Landing with a thud on the floor, Akatsuki complained, “What?”

Seeing the look on his sister's face made him come wide awake quickly.

“She's here!”

“Who?” Akatsuki asked.

“That Li woman—Xin's wife? The one you scared away?”

Akatsuki swore badly, and summoned his sword. He and his sister then made their way downstairs, and both froze on the stairs—something was coming. Something bad.
