Thea Winters was Rick Grimes' and Shane Walsh's other best friend from their childhood. Thea and Rick had always loved each other but when Lori and Rick started dating, Thea left King County and joined the US army. Returning to King County, Thea finds Rick in a coma. Then the outbreak happens. Thea tries to keep her distance from the love of her life while trying to keep him alive.

AU - "I could have stopped him," he said, tears thick in his voice. "He was acting so weird and he almost hurt Mom and I saw him text you. I knew something bad was gonna happen and I should have said something, but I didn't. And it's all my fault!" In King County Georgia, life was boring. Simple. Then, a certain sheriff Rick Grimes met one Beth Greene, and it all changed.

A dangerous supply run takes Rick's group out of Alexandria and back to the prison. Prepared for almost anything, Rick makes the unexpected decision to help a lone survivor he comes across, but he's not prepared for the impact this stranger will have on his life. For the first time since before the outbreak, he finds himself contemplating the forgotten idea of falling in love.

Rick never meets up with the others in Atlanta, he waits for Morgan and Duane before heading to Atlanta and therefore never runs into Glenn. Consequently, Shane and Co head for Fort Benning. But, the Greene farm is still overrun by a passing herd. Beth and Jimmy escape and when all seems lost, they run into Rick Grimes. Rick/Beth. Rating subject to change.

Rick and Beth escape the prison together. Can they find the others, and can they heal themselves? Officially rated M for language, violence, and sexy times. This IS a romance, so if you're not interested, just don't read. :)

Amy Phillips has feelings for the leader of her group, Rick Grimes, but he isn't ready to return those feelings. When they enter Alexandria and she catches the attention of a certain former Navy Seal (Steve McGarrett), Rick will have to decide if he'd rather lose Amy completely - or share her with another man. Rick & Sarah (OFC) have set out in search of antibiotics to treat the infected wound on Abraham's hand. Along the way, a storm forces them to take shelter in an abandoned shack. During their overnight hiatus, Rick finally comes to terms with his feelings about moving on after Lori's death. Romantic fantasy. (One shot).

Rick learns that maybe Beth Greene isn't quite as innocent as everyone thinks.
