Just watched Alice in Wonderland, and it was COOL. XD Although, I think the experience would be further enriched if there wasn't so many changes to the storyline, though. I personally wanted to see good-'ol-jolly-bonkers Mad Hatter who fights with the March Hare about butter. And perhaps not so many subplots as well, and probably a little more faithfulness to the book. But overall, I liked it. :) (Alice/Knave of Hearts FTW, man. XD)

I just realized today how much I suck at TLE. :P I mean, the past years I've been doing sewing, handicraft-making and whatnot, I have not once used any of the things I created. XD I've just realized how silly my dream of selling handicrafts is. With that progress, probably the best I could do is something involving Popsicle sticks. And even those still break! XP

I came across the most wonderful e-mail, and I thought I'd share the message with you. :)

The Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly.. So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call,

"The Law of the Garbage Truck."

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks.

They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.

As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.. Don't take it personally.
Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.

Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.

Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...

Love the people who treat you right.

Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Gwuh. I am currently overwhelmed with tasks, the most heavy one being in charge of our section's cheerdance. This would've been easy, if only I was some professional choreographer with the fortitude of a rock and the resolve like a lion. And perhaps being gay would help too, since gay choreographers seem to be more respected than those of the straight variety. Because NOBODY SEEMS TO LISTEN TO ME. T_T

When I teach formations, I feel like I'm an unassuming rock being swept away by a raging wave. I try my best to be strict, I honestly do, but I keep on asking myself "What the heck am I doing wrong?!". Because every word I say just slides off them like water. T_T (I've also noticed I'm kinda a doormat. Everyone just keeps... stepping on me. T_T)

WAAAAAH!!

(Hey, if you guys are currently in possession of a movie poster of the movie with Mr. Jude-sexy-Law posing with his cane and Mr. Robert-hot-Downey Jr. looking just plain fine, can I have it? I'll give you my soul and my first-born child if you do. :D (Okay... maybe not. XD But I'll give you something just as priceless!))

I've noticed that other authors here have took to writing their profiles in blog form, so I thought I'd do the same since it looked cool. :D

Well, for starters: yes, I'm back. After what seemed like an eternity of being dead and inactive, I'm finally back, ready to return to the world known as fanfiction. It's quite a convoluted story, so I'll start from the beginning to make things clear; beginning with my uber-late updates on The Great Cahill Race.

When I first began the story, I was fueled solely on my excitement about the series, and that was about it. Wasn't much of a good source of inspiration, though; because after the speculation stage of my fanhood had begun to wither, I began to encounter problems with the plot and the challenges. My reasoning had begun to kick in, and I began questioning myself whether some parts were relevant to the story. Because you see, as I delved deeper into the concept of writing, I began to get more interested in the logic and motives of characters and circumstances; further goaded by literature such as George Eliot's Silas Marner (although I haven't read the whole book, I was inspired by an excerpt of this masterpiece.) and Cliff McNish's The Silver Child. I thought to myself, These guys must be geniuses. They make the characters so likeable, so human...

Which further begun my passion for writing characters who were like them: strong, unique and intelligent. Suddenly fanfiction didn't appeal to me anymore. I wanted to explore the boundaries of original writing further, and I thought that writing fanfiction would just get in my way. But after a while of writing, I suddenly encountered every writer's worst enemy: writer's block. And so I bemoaned the lack of inspiration, decided to get out of the writing community for a while and neglected my fanfiction account; which I later realized was actually as stepping stone to achieve my dreams to become a famous author. Boo Lamus Authoricus.

Finally, after what seemed like a dark hole of writing unproductivity, my inspirations were sparked again during Third Year English Class.

The directions of one project were easy: write one example of a Narrative, Autobiographical and Descriptive paragraph. Plain and simple. For some reason, I felt the inner author within me jump for joy at this prospect. Ideas began to break through the floodgates of my mind, sparking my love for writing. I dawned upon the realization that I write because I love writing, not because I was running on some wild speculation. I was further inspired when I learned that one best-selling author had also stemmed from writing fanfiction, thus strengthening my resolve.

When I decided to return to fanfiction, the first story I thought of updating was The Great Cahill Race; since I figured that it was a great starting point due to the many possible subplots that can be used with the characters. So now I'm currently working on it, thanks to that bolt of realization... and honestly, those endearing reviews from all of you. :-)

Oh, and if you're wondering where my other stories have gone, I've deleted them. One of them was simply at a dead end: I didn't know where to go from there, and no brilliant plot was brewing in my mind since after reading the whole story, realized there wasn't a plot to begin with. (Think Twilight). The other one is for a special reason: If you guys have been reading my story, Romantic Cliches, Debunked!, I've decided to replace it with a new project which is also a series of oneshots. The project will deal with some character analysis in my part, featuring the dark horses of The 39 Clues: The Holts.(Yes, not Amy and Dan. I figured that since they were making a name for themselves, the Holts are the underdogs in contrast to them.) For the longest time I had a fascination with that family of characters, and I often wondered what it was like to enter their world and analyze their motives.

Also, if you've been reading A New Addition and were wondering whether it was on the brink of being deleted, then don't despair. Believe me, it is far from that risk and I have no intention of deleting it whatsoever. :D That was the first fanfiction starring an OC that I was actually proud of, and the first fanfiction I have ever made that got so many reviews in so little chapters. Thanks, guys. You rock. :D
