![]() Author has written 9 stories for Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, and Hobbit. A little about the author (that's me, Aranel Carnilino, in case you were wondering): Twenty-five, happily single, and in possession of a useless Bachelors of Arts degree in English. *shakes head* Shoulda gone for the Bachelors of Creative Writing. That would have, at least, been more helpful to me currently. A bit frighteningly prone to daydreaming. I probably should've been born in Middle-earth, since that seems to be where I spend most of my time. I also entertain daydreams now and then of being a published writer, but my wet blanket of a daydream moderator generally comes out and is all, "Whoaaaaa... hold on there. Living in Rivendell, no probs. Marrying Tom Hiddleston? Pshh. Easy. Becoming a published author? Nope. Uh-uh. Way out there. Definitely going too far." Withdrawing from grad school may have been the best thing that ever happened to me, because I hated it all along, and I would have been a horrible English teacher. (Actually, I would have probably been the best English teacher ever, but whatevs. Sour grapes. *shrugs*) A good day for me right now is one in which I'm allowed to write, undisturbed, for several hours, and/or accomplish other rather nerdy things, like making chain mail and watercolor painting violent battle scenes. Random fact about me: I have miniature chickens that sometimes sleep in my shower. *nods seriously* Caffeine and I are a married couple. I decidedly overdo it on coffee, and don't get me started on tea. I have three cupboards devoted to that mainstay of British culture, which I shamelessly flaunt to my few, long-suffering friends whenever they stop over. I enjoy being hyper, which is strange, because I've always fancied myself a contented pessimist, and caffeine tends to facilitate bouncing in my chair and laughing at really stupid things on the internet. On that note, #MajesticThorin is a must google. You're welcome. I also enjoy fangirling over BagginShield and JoanLock with my good friend, Eleanor Damaschke, who is amazing, and you should totally check out her profile if you haven't already. We're both, frankly, kind of aghast at the response to "Fiercer Than Fire." You guys do us great honor. *bows* Well, that's all for now, my pretties. Keep reading and reviewing, because reviews feed my writer's brain, which is currently lacking a bit in motivation. |
