The mind boggles with what information anyone might want to know about me.

I have survived things that would kill many people. I have lived and learned that Life continues, whether we want it to or not. I have relearned how to swallow, drink, eat and speak three times and have managed quite well with the dire predictions of doctors and religious folk. I can now add relearning to see with both eyes (at the same time, no less!), basic co-ordination and how to walk without a walker. I have tentatively restarted my martial arts training mentioned later in the introduction.

I am happily married, currently share my home with a cat, a chicken outside, and one dog and read almost incessantly. I enjoy manga - preferring bishounen men much to my Darling Adorable's dismay - and collect what anime catches my fancy.
I know enough to know better than to share my political and religious views with random people, but will gleefully argue both sides of any decent problem. I write books - participating in NaNoWriMo every year - and hope to eventually upload something fanfic-ish just for fun.

I sew, crochet, deal with assorted animals, and know more trivia than should be healthy. I have traveled all over this country and to a few others, dealt with the US military as a dependent child and a spouse and have too many stories of what can happen on military bases when you aren't paying attention. I have studied animal behavior, psychology, the Natural Sciences, and botany. I have made specific studies of edible and poisonous plants, even-toed ungulates, homesteading skills, history and historical costumes, historical and Middle Eastern dance, and cookery. I answer all questions truthfully, so don't ask unless you really want to know.

I'm older than you think, but young enough to still wonder about the world. I will never stop learning, if I do sometimes stop doing.

I take classes in Tang Soo Do, a Korean style of Karate - it's considered a "hard style" which actually suits my personality well. If you have questions about Tang Soo Do, Karate, or the differences between hard and soft styles, I will happily share my thoughts, education, and opinions.
