Update: Surprise! I'm still alive. Even bigger surprise, I'm still working on Rain and Lightning. Never stopped, it's just been slow going. I have a son now and I wrote a book called "Spectacularly Broken". Google it if you're interested (links seem to have a hard time on here). PM me if you like.

So I guess it's about time I put something here that isn't the two random sentences I cobbled together when I first registered this account.

Native of Germany, been living in the US for six years or so, married for three. English is my second language, which I started learning in seventh grade. However, I like to think I'm pretty much bilingual now, so please don't go easy on my stories because of that.

My writing certainly isn't anywhere near perfect, but I firmly believe that improvement comes with time and practice. I like original takes on established ideas, imperfect characters who change and develop believably throughout a story, and blunt, honest feedback. I also have a very strange sense of humor and will giggle helplessly about the most inane things.

My current story, Rain and Lightning, is a relatively dark take on the NWN2 OC and follows my KC of choice, Brianna Storm, who blunders her way through the OC trying to leave her past behind her and, most importantly, to stay alive through the hell and high water that is to come. I've tried to keep the angst to a manageable level despite the dark background, to introduce a heroine who's really not all that heroic, and to keep everyone in character and yet offer an entertaining take on the campaign that most NWN2 fanfiction readers may not yet have run across. Ambitious, I know.

Ashes in the Breeze is a collection of BGII scenes I started writing one day when I was stuck on Rain and Lightning. It's just a side project I may or may not update.

I always appreciate reviews (naturally) and I like to think I'm pretty good with constructive criticism, so please feel free to offer some if you even remotely enjoyed what you read.
