Tony Stark went missing after Civil War, but nobody cared enough to go searching for him, all believing that he just needed some time on his own to pout. Meanwhile he has been horribly experimented on, and transformed into something other than human. When he escapes, he finds himself running into three children who seem to be just as lost as him, and he has to protect them.

This story explores the growing father/son relationship between Tony and Peter, and all the trouble a teenage superhero can get himself into. WARNING: this story will contain disciplinary spanking at some points, but it is not the main focus. If you don't like this, then don't read or bother flaming me!

Tony doesn't like to emerge from the Avengers Tower after the events of the Civil War. He feels like he's worthless and doesn't deserve to be saved. However, when Tony's kidnapped by Hammer Industries everything goes downhill. Leaving behind encoded messages, Peter races to save his mentor but he's gonna needs help. Will Peter be able to reunite the Avengers in time to save Tony?

It takes one night for Tony Stark to become Peter Parker's legal guardian. It takes one year for them to feel like family.

Peter survives a vicious kidnapping after having a huge argument with Tony. Now, more than ever, Tony knows he has to be there for him. They have a lot to work out, but Tony isn't walking away so easily this time. He vowed to never abandon the kid again, and he's going to keep that vow even if it kills him (or at the very least, makes him go grey).

Steve has been trying to cope with the loss of, well, everything he loved for the past 6 months. Drawing was a way for him to express it, but this time it only shook him further into despair. Hurrying out of his apartment, Steve heads to Avengers Tower, which he would later regret and be grateful for.

Peter's line of thought jerked to a halt as he saw a file sitting innocently in the corner of the screen, so small it was nearly hidden, with the name "Avengers: Mission Files". Curiosity killed the cat but, well, spider.

Peter needs a lot of things. He's just a fifteen year old kid after all, living with his single aunt. Luckily his new friend is Tony Stark, and Tony Stark has a lot of resources. Plus, he might just care a bit about Peter. Maybe.

Tony is overworked, both by SHIELD's endless projects and his anxiety. Insecure about his position on the Avengers and trying to cope with his panic attacks, he frequently locks himself in his lab for days on end with JARVIS as his only companion, going without food and sleep. As he's falling apart, Steve starts to get through to him and might be able to put him back together.

Peter had just wanted some snacks. Just a trip to the store to get some food for a hungry teenager. But when someone needs help, Spider-Man can't walk away, even if it means putting himself in danger.
