Currently, my favorite fandoms are:

High School Musical
Sharpay Evans is my favorite character. I ship her with pretty much anyone; I don't know why. I love Gabriella, but I don't like to ship her with anyone. For some reason, I love relationships that don't make a lot of sense on the surface, are pretty angst-ridden, and don't always get that happy ending. My favorite ships to write are Troy/Sharpay and Chad/Sharpay. I'm also intrigued by Troy/Kelsi; I have this little image in my head that Troy is cheating on Gabriella with her. ;)

Hannah Montana
Like Sharpay, I ship my favorite character, Miley Stewart, with just about anyone. I'll admit it: I'm one of the many who adores Jake/Miley. They're adorable together. Oliver/Miley comes as a very close second, with Nick/Miley following close behind (but not in real life!).

Twilight
My favorite character in this fandom has got to be Jacob Black. I ship him with Bella, only because he needs some love, and there are very few females available to him in this fandom, without creating my own (and the moment you do that, people scream "MARY SUE!" and don't give it a remote chance). To be quite honest, I don't like Bella's character very much at all. I'm lukewarm on Edward, too.

The Office
Pam Beesly is my favorite character. I love writing high-school-age Pam. I adore imagining her relationship with Roy at its start, and examining what exactly went wrong in their many years together. Jim/Katy is another interest of mine, but only partially because I have an unnatural love for both John Krasinski and Amy Adams, and would love to see them get together in real life, if it were feasible. ;)

On a similar note, I love to write backstory, and create my own personal canon for characters (I think that is referred to as fanon; I'm not sure, really, what most of the terms mean in fandom). I am a sucker for a good one-shot that really delves into a character, and I love to study the psychology behind a character -- that's the most important element to me, personally, moreso than plot or dialogue.
