Name: ...Well, many people (ahem, MY FRIENDS) can tell you that I have various names and aliases--one of which being "Tom Hanks"but you can just call me topaz-tantei. "Topaz" for my fav gemstone (Mystic Fire Topaz--cookies for those who know what that is) and "tantei", which is Japanese for "detective". No, I am not a detective, but I've always been interested in crime/mystery and my first real favorite anime was Detective Conan... so... you can see where that all happened... ;3

Age: Old enough--I'll leave you with that.

Gender: I'm a girl, thank you very much! (And if you are confused about the "Tom Hanks" alias... well, that was just ther first name that popped into my mind at the moment and it kinda stuck... so I'm the female Tom Hanks--remember that! XD)

Likes: Cats. I'm a total cat-person and I even have four cats. (My friends might tell you I have fifteen cats, but NO, they are just messin' w you.) I also love music, drawing, anime, and manga. (look down for more info, plz)

Dislikes: Big Dogs. I'm fine with smaller dogs (but too small and I think I'll crush them...) but I just don't like big dogs. Why? Its not because I think cats are better--I AM NOT DOG-RACIST!--I just am not comfortable around large dogs. I also hate it when I find a song I like but I can't find it on my country's iTunes--I'll find it in another country's iTunes, but NOT ON MINE. ...that really pisses me off. Whenever my iPod stops working right that pisses me off too... and my friends can definitely attest to that. ;)

Books: I used to be a very healthy reader, but I've slacked off lately and started reading only fanfic... and I can already tell that my vocabulary needs some help. Hopefully this year I'll get back on track reading-wise. ^^

Music: I do not play any instruments (tho I played piano back in ancient history... now I can't even read a single note! T-T No regrets tho~) but I do love to listen to music. I was sort of a late-bloomer compared to all the other students and their affliction to music and iPods... but now I have a still-growing iTunes library with over a day's worth of music. ^^ I get new music from an assortment of places. I tend to listen to the Hit's 1 station in the car and when a song catches my ear I add it to my YouTube playlist before buying it... and on YT I also find a lot of songs while watching AMVs... those are the two places I get music from. I also like to listen to my friend when she plays the piano. (psst! She's really good, but don't tell her I said that. ^^) Lately my friend and I have been listening to a lot of Japanese music. We can't understand it all but its still good! ;3

Anime/Manga: I love anime and manga. I've only really known what it is for about three years but I've already grown attached~ I had always liked the Avatar: The Last Airbender series on Nick but at the time I didn't know why I liked it so much. ^^ My first authentic anime was Gakuen Alice. Since then, I've both watched and read many other anime and manga, but my top-five favorites are 1.) Detective Conan, 2.) Katekyō Hitman Reborn!, 3.) Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, 4.) History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, and 5.) Ouran High School Host Club. Third, fourth, and fifth place are all kinda tied together along with Shibatora (which I recently found out was also a live-action drama--I've been trying to watch it and its definitely different!). I would list others bit those are the tip-top. ^^ Detective Conan has long been my most favorite (along with Aoyama's Magic Kaito and Tell Me A Lie) and up until recently, Kenichi was my second-place. Over the 2010 summer though, I--ahem, my friend's brother--discovered KHR and we all really loved it. I just can't wait for the next release and that sort of tension is right up there with my #1. ;) This all just reminds me that I'm such a nerd~

Games: I actually don't play games. I sometimes play games like Harvest Moon DS Cute, Princess Peach, and Sims 2: Castaways on my DS... but not all that often really. I more-than-often find myself just watching others play while I do something else... ^^

FanFic Ideas: ...I actually don't really plan on writing any fanfic. I'd rather sort out my own personal story and characters before attempting to use other peoples... I might end up making some fanfics to practice my characters' personalities and reactions... but other than that, don't expect much from me! ^^ I use this account for keeping track of my favorite stories and authors more than for my writing prowess.

Other Contacts: Well on YT I'm topaz0tantei cuz they don't allow dashes... But other than that I don't have much else to share. Eventually my friends and I will have a website made for our creations and character so I'll put that up when its good and ready. ^^ I look forward to it~ Wally and Co. will be famous someday! You remember that!
