![]() Author has written 2 stories for Frozen, and Tangled. "Reading stays with you until the very end - after Narnia is gone, Lord Voldermort is dead, and Alice is awake." -- anonymous "The writer has to take the most used, the most familiar objects- nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs- ball them together and make them bounce, turn them a certain way and make people get into a romantic mood; and another way, into a bellicous mood." -- Maya Angelou "Writing is like giving yourself homework, really hard homework, every day for the rest of your life. You want glamorous? Throw glitter at the computer screen." -- Katrina Monroe Something to think about: Every book or story or article you have ever read is just a different combination of 26 letters. How amazing is that! Writer at heart. That is me to a T. When I am happy, when I am sad, when I am excited, when I am depressed, writing makes my emotions into something that I look back on and enjoy later, not only because I love stories, but because I will remember how I felt while writing it. I will be encouraged by my work, and by seeing how far I have come since then. I write to portray my feelings. I can't talk about them, not very well anyways. The words simply refuse to come in a way that makes sense or sounds professional or grown up. But when I write, the words flow easily, like my soul is being stamped onto the screen of my computer. Even if no one enjoys my writing, I do. Which is why I continue. Someday, I hope people will read my work, find comfort or entertainment in it. But for now, I write for myself. And for fun. |
