Hello friends!

Tesselation (Tessa to her friends) is the name I have given to one of my many OCs that haunts my brain each and every night, vying for my attention to make it from abstraction to text on my computer screen. She bids you all a fond greeting for welcoming her into the digital world and can't wait to get into trouble while you all sit back and enjoy the excitement.

She'd also like to warn you that I cannot control myself in the slightest bit and at any moment profanities could arise in my writings--as well as alluding to some things that should be kept behind closed doors. I don't like to insult people's intelligences by ever pulling the Hollywood stunt of "But we didn't explicitly show it so it's okay!" An allusion is enough to warrant warning in my book. (This is just a nice way of saying I'm an adult incapable of filtering myself--so most likely my stories will be rated M.)

I hope to begin posting this story soon. It's been haunting the back of my brain since I was in high school, but is finally reaching fruition as I've now already collected one degree in college. That's a really long time for me to have kept this girl all to myself and it's about time she was allowed to get out and play and make new friends. I shouldn't be so selfish. ;-)

I apologize for not updating in so long. The last sixish months have been absolutely crazy. It's hard to believe that much time has passed but it has! The good news is that I've had a lot of good life experiences in the meantime which will help me flush out my characters so that they'll feel more real on the page when I start typing again. I'm a strong believer in that you can only write [well] what you know. So becoming an aunt, moving homes, having most of my friends move away (because of college graduation) and struggling to find that new niche, those are all experiences that Tessa goes through (at some point in the story if not already) and thus, it'll be a lot easier for me to get in her head.

So, please, have patience and stick with me. I hope to get the story up and running again soon. As soon as I finish moving in with my own personal "Melon". And no, that's not nearly as much fun as it sounds like. And no Melon was not based on him. (I came up with Melon 7 years ago, long before my "Melon")
