Merlin takes the job of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. He will have to try to blend in, keep the school safe, and stop what he suspects will be an incredibly disastrous event at the end of the year, all while continuing to wait for his King to return. Basically my take on what would happen if Merlin taught at Hogwarts.

As Harry starts his sixth year of Hogwarts, the school is surprised to have a new History of Magic teacher who seams to be very mysterious and more wise than his age and appearance led on.

When Merlin visits the crystal cave, Taliesin reminds him of Harry Potter's destiny and his role in it as his protector and guide during Harry's sixth year. He sends him to Orson & Baird, an orphanage where he begins his journey. Merlin faces many challenges this year, from dealing with Tom Riddle and a plot to kill Dumbledore, to having dreams of Arthur's return.

It is the summer of 1990 and the Winchester family find themselves in the U.K. (along with Bobby) to do some work. Or at least that was until Dean gets a suspicion rising letter, per owl post! *I am currently (May 14th, 2018) writing all the chapters and will pick up an actual schedule when the first year is finished.
