![]() They say guys shouldn't read Fan Fiction and stay sane. They say guys shouldn't be into mushy love stuff. They say you shouldn't fit in with the crowd and be unique. They should make up their mind. I fashion myself a writer, but mainly I just like to use crazy and somewhat unusual words and way of speech. If I could figure out how to post a story, I'd write maybe one or two. But it may be a stretch. A little bit about me... should anyone actually have a desire to know anything. Favorites: Food: anything with beef or meat... I'm a meat and sweet potato type of guy. Movie: Moneyball. It encapsulates my geeky-ness and aspirations of athleticism. TV Show: Top Gear USA, Chopped, HGTV, American Ninja Warrior, Amazing Race... all play into my mind in different ways. Book: Anything by Wayne Thomas Batson, or Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen. Both are written by great authors. And all are wonderful stories. Sport: Baseball. It is almost my life. School Subject: I do love a good creative writing class. However, of the stuff I've taken recently, it always depends upon the teacher. Though I find myself a history type of guy. Mediums I would consider writing about: This is a HUGE question. There's a few things I wouldn't mind writing about if the Spirit moved me, such as: 1. Phineas and Ferb. I've been tethered to my Disney Channel loving sister for 13 years now. And in that time frame, you pick out maybe one show you can stand. In any case, this show is really a pretty great show. If I did write about it, it'd have to be about something Ferbella. Spazzumtard and HigherSilver have done wonders for me. Not to mention Lilly-Belle, who, though playing both sides of the fight, has not quite opened me up yet to Phinabella. I still have a slight distaste for Phineas. 2. Professor Layton. Playing this game for years now, it's grown on me. I love his gentlemanly nature- I strive to be like that in most every way. The puzzles are great, but Professor Layton... I think I have a serious bro-mance with that guy. 3. Harry Potter. Though not really a huge possibility, my friends have been pressing on me to read it all... and I mean you can't let down your friends. As a result, it's not a bad series in any regard of the matter. Though I like it... I probably won't write about it. 4. Flipped. It's so out of date, so it may not really lend to anything... but it's too great. This is part of the show where zdk87 comes out and sings a silly song (Veggietales, anyone?). Nah, I wish though. You see, this is ACTUALLY the part of the show where zdk87 comes out and cries and begs... well, not really. But proverbial tears have been cried, but either way, this is mainly to show three things: number one, I really need a different outlet when it comes to expressing my odd off topic random tangents... number two, this entire section down here has been a result of number one... and number three, I need ideas. You see class, this site is wonderful to read and glean off of, and come away inspired, sad, getting emotional... well, not really the latter; stoicism is a wonderful thing, but so are tissues in a restroom. ANYWAY, the ideas I need flood off of the fact that I can write... I hope, since I've written at least this much already... but when it comes to ideas and brainstorms and strokes of brilliance... that just really isn't me. I'm not the ideas guy, unfortunately, and as a result, throughout my time here taking a gander, I've never posted anything. So, if anyone at all happens to Stumble Upon me, I must admit, I'm not against the idea of writing something. I just need motivation and an idea and it should start cooking. So thanks for all who not only took the time to go to my "profile of wonder and surprises," but beyond that, took their own precious time to read this schpeal of nothingness, and as a result are congratulated with a "That'll do pig, that'll do." Thank you again, and God Bless Each and Every One of You. SIDE NOTE: If any one of YOU have an idea for me, I'm game. I may reject a few, and there are certain aspects and pairings for those which are listed above which I simply cannot do, i.e., Phinabella or going against the show's pre-defined limits, but if someone gives me that boost to jump from... I'll take all the rocket fuel you've got and see whether it lifts me up into the atmosphere, or sputters out upon ignition. |
