Sometime after his mothers wedding, Jess circles around some dark thoughts and can't seem to get away. This is Jess hitting rock bottom. And how his Uncle helps him through it.

Alternate universe. An older, more stable 23 year old Jess Mariano meets a 19 year old Rory Gilmore on the verge of a series of life altering mistakes after her freshman year at Yale. Their meeting sparks a divergent path for the both of them.

He knows exactly what Rory needs. She needs someone who will be there when she wants it. Someone to scratch an itch. While he's probably always going to be a little in love with her, he knows he can live with that. For once, Jess is absolutely, without any doubt, positive he can give her what she needs.

Almost a decade after the disastrous kiss at Truncheon, Luke & Lorelei are married. Rory is a world-traveling reporter based in Boston. Jess is a successful author recently moved from Philadelphia to New York. When life brings Rory to New York she and Jess reconnect.

Plans change, arms get twisted and, somehow, they're both in town for Christmas. (Very) post-finale Literati in 5 parts.

A realistic glimpse of how assistant NYTimes editor Rory finds ways back to Stars Hollow and back to casual encounters with a former boyfriend through his annotated pages of Hemingway, Kerouac, Woolf, and Vonnegut. When the wedding is suddenly postponed and Rory moves to New York, they are left with eight and a half years of suppressed feelings and only one outlet: each-other. COMPLETE.

A backstory to "Third Time's The Charm" by Lady-Of-Victory-Rising. AU post-finale Lit - Jess never came to live in Stars Hollow and never met the Gilmores but Rory now needs some help to get accomodated in Philadelphia when she comes for an internship.

Post-finale. Jess and Rory run into each other in an unexpected place. Emotional mayhem ensues :P
