Damon and Elena share the perfect kiss, but a misunderstanding causes a confused Elena to push Damon away, leaving him heart-broken. Can Elena find Damon and admit her true feelings?

What would happen if Elena happened to lose her voice, how would people react; more importantly how would Stefan and Damon react, what would they do? How would Damon take advantage of this situation?

Post 1x14. 6 months after Damon leaves to find Katherine, Elena recieves his lapis ring and realizes he's dead. Another 6 months later, she and Stefan are getting married. And their wedding is perfect... until Damon objects. Mini fic.
