DJ Lancia was born and raised in La California. She has been mesmerized by electronic music from the time hearing the synthesizer breakdown of Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash, Quad City DJs, Real 2 Real, La Bouche and for that reason many others. DJ Lancia started out DJíng with two mismatched 1970s turntables, once owned by her parents, and a $70 used Gemini machine. Her record selection was vinyl, given to her by her relatives and nearby family friends. DJ Lanciaâs first few years of DJâing, your lady only played 70â²s together with 80s music.
