update 10/2017: It's been 20 months since I have last written and published any kind of fiction. When I put "Journey's Beginning" on a temporary hiatus, I seriously thought it wouldn't last that long but work and life have simply eaten up my time and they chased my muse away. I honestly miss writing more than I can even express, but things don't exactly get easier when in addition to everything else your specialisation exams are getting closer with every month that passes.
From the bottom of my heart, I apologise dearly to every single one of my readers. While I have not yet given up on that hobby which always meant so much to me, right now I can't possibly tell whether I will ever find my way back to it or whether it is lost to me for good. I will keep on hoping though, and maybe one day I will return to play with those worlds that we all enjoy to visit.

Hello there.

I reckon it's about time I updated this profile a little. Most likely, from the list of shows/movies I have written for you can already tell what kind of fiction I like. Still, I want to say a thing or two about my main fandoms:

The Adventures of Sinbad: Considering that about half of my works are for this show I think it's fairly obvious that I'm an avid fan of it. AoS is one of the first series I ever watched on TV (at least if you don't count those cartoons every child enjoys) and there is good chance that it will always be my primary fandom, too.
I adored the characters as well as the adventures they experienced; the friendship amongst the crew and how those people were so much like a family to each other. And, of course, I really loved to see Sinbad and Maeve together.
I was rather upset when the second season began and they were seperated, the show getting kind of a make-over not just in that regard. I didn't like how the atmosphere went from bright and happy to somewhat dark and gloomy and felt like AoS had been pretty much bereft of its soul. However, now after all these years have passed I have come to regard S2 with a new curiosity and have to realise that things aren't really as bad as I remember them. I still prefer S1 but quite honestly like certain aspects of S2, too - the favourite ones being Rongar's background story, the introduction of Mala and last but not least the relationship between Doubar and Bryn which could have been the foundation for so much more than just friendship imho. Anyway, long story cut short: my attitude towards this show has never changed and I'm glad to see that there are still so many people out there who also care about it.

Doctor Who: Compared to AoS this is a rather recent addition to the list. I love pretty much everything about this show though, from the general concept right to the characters and their stories.
When it comes to the Time Lord there is so far not a single incarnation that I don't like (I have to admit though that I have not yet seen all of the Classics) but out of his many faces there's only one that I love beyond telling and that's Nine. He was my first Doctor and I'm pretty certain that he will always be my favourite, too. He is the one who got me hooked on the show, and as far as any ships are concerned you will find that I have fallen hopelessly in love with him and Rose. I just adore their chemistry and the relationship they share and how it’s never quite clear just where they stand with it. There just is something so very awesome between those two that even my initial bewilderment about a 900 plus yrs old alien falling for a teenage human girl got silenced.
That said, I like Ten/Rose, too, though not quite to the same degree and love how Rose got to have her own Doctor (which in my eyes really was the only happy ending those two could have had in the canon 'verse) but when it comes down to it, it’s always all Northern accent and ears for me.

Red Dwarf: Now that's one of my absolute favourites. Got introduced to it in 2012 and have quickly developed an obsession for it. Unfortunately though I am not that great at writing humour, or at capturing dialects and mannerisms such as the guys show it. So, rather than creating rubbish stories for this awesome show, I stick to reading and watching. :)

Asides from the obvious I really enjoy reading stories about various fantasy and sci-fi series/films and try to be a good reviewer when it comes to that one. And while we're talking about it:
To those who reviewed: Thank you so very much! Your reviews really mean a lot to me and I appreciate every single one I get. If I can, I will reply to any feedback given - either per pm or in the A/N if it's a multi-chapter story - as I believe this is the least I can do to thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my works.

Now, as for what you can expect from me: I like to bring emotions across which is why most of my stories are really rather heavy on that. Unfortunately this also means, however, that for the greater part my writings (and especially my one-shots) lack any real action and often enough dialogue, too. I try to improve on that but quite regularly feel myself getting drawn back to creating emotional things.
Also, I am a rather slow writer. I would really wish to change that and not test the patience of my readers like I have done way too often already, but sometimes life just gets in the way.

If you scroll through what I have published till now you will find, at the very bottom of that relatively short list, works that are close to ten years old. In parts they might even be cringe-worthy but I cannot bring myself to delete or re-write them as they show where I have started.

Considering my universes and the stories that belong to them, here is a short summary:
The Elemental Series - AoS : Features the stories Till we meet again, Things do change as well as its current main work Rise of the Phoenix. The plotline may be continued with Words of Forever, Turn of the Tide, Daughter of Earth and Forgotten Light (if I ever get to write them, also these are but working titles). Sinbad/Maeve.

Silent Joy 'verse - AoS: A series of loosely connected stories that have Bryn and Doubar as the main pairing (though especially Silent Joy itself also focuses on Maeve and Sinbad). So far includes: A new day, Finding Home, I remember you, Contemplation and Silent Joy.

Bright are the Stars - DW: A (post-) Journey's End AU where the meta-crisis Doctor is Nine. Starts with Journey's Beginning and there's some sneak peeks of where it's all headed in Pictures of Us. Future works will hopefully be Bright are the Stars and Flying with Fear.

Any story that's not listed within these 'verses is either set within the canon world, or a little experiment that doesn't really fit into any specific category.

Well then, since that's all said and done I guess there's only one last thing to mention: English is not my mother tongue. I really try to do my best with it but at the end of the day I'm still only human. So if you detect any mistakes in my stories please go easy on me. Furthermore I seem to have adopted American spelling in certain cases so that now I am mixing both - that and British English. I will try to get back to using just one of the two though (most likely BE because that's what I learned first) but it might take some time to revise old works and chapters.

And now, enough with the introduction (kudos to you if you're still with me). I hope you enjoy reading my works.

AoS fans should feel encouraged to check out Tetisheri's, Electra's as well as Anime Princess's and MJDai's page because all four of them are very creative and their tales a real treat.

And for those who like the first season of the Doctor Who reboot and would have loved to see more of Nine and Rose, have a look at Montana's Parallax stories and Blue Wolf's works - they really are awesome! Also, ErtheChilde is an incredibly talented author and one of the few who focuses entirely on the in-betweens of Season One.
Last but certainly not least: Blue Wolf has set up the community The Days of Nine and Rose's that Montana and I contribute to and which holds a lot of Nine/Rose goodness, too.
