While adjusting to life in Alexandria, Daryl finds himself in an unlikely friendship with Aaron, and they discover they have more in common than they originally thought. This story is mainly Aaron/Daryl, but becomes Aaron/Paul R. for a few chapters later in the story before returning to the original pairing.

Data and B-4 have vanished, and it is up to Lore and the Enterprise crew to find them before it's too late. But they aren't the only ones on the hunt. Who finds them first will mean the difference between life and death, and possibly the very future of the Federation...

Following the events of Ascent I, Lore finds himself wandering the Beta Quadrant without purpose, until a mysterious message from Deanna Troi prompts him to return to the Enterprise.
