Instead of prison, Odin casts an ancient spell to transform Loki; good people become glorious, evil people become twisted and ugly. Guess what Odin is expecting. Guess what he gets instead. No graphic violence but some icky descriptions toward the end. Also up on AO3. Four chapters total.
